Which fintech companies in Florida sponsor H-1B1 Chile visas?
Florida's fintech sponsors include large payments processors such as FIS and Fiserv, both headquartered in Jacksonville, as well as Worldpay, NCR, and a growing set of Miami-based digital banking and payments startups. These companies file Labor Condition Applications with the DOL's Office of Foreign Labor Certification, and their LCA filing history is publicly searchable through the OFLC Wage Search tool.
Which Florida cities have the most fintech H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs?
Miami leads for fintech concentration, driven by its positioning as a Latin American financial hub with strong venture-backed startup activity in Brickell and Wynwood. Jacksonville follows as home to major payments and banking technology firms. Tampa and Orlando also have active fintech hiring, particularly in payments infrastructure, insurance technology, and enterprise software serving financial institutions.
What fintech roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Chile sponsorship in Florida?
Roles that qualify must meet the specialty occupation standard, requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. In Florida fintech, this commonly covers software engineers, data scientists, quantitative analysts, cybersecurity specialists, compliance analysts, and financial technology product managers. General business or sales roles without a specific degree requirement typically do not qualify under H-1B1 visa Chile criteria.
How do I find fintech H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate filters fintech job listings in Florida specifically by H-1B1 Chile visa sponsorship history, drawing on DOL Labor Condition Application data to show which employers have a verified record of filing for this visa category. This saves you from applying to companies with no sponsorship track record. Search Migrate Mate's Florida fintech listings and filter by H-1B1 Chile to see active and recent openings from confirmed sponsors.
Are there Florida-specific considerations for H-1B1 Chile sponsorship in fintech?
Florida has no state income tax, which affects compensation structuring and is worth noting when evaluating offers alongside prevailing wage obligations. Miami's status as a regional financial hub means some employers have existing familiarity with Latin American visa categories, including H-1B visa1 Chile. The H-1B1 is not subject to the H-1B lottery and has a dedicated annual allocation for Chilean nationals, making Florida fintech roles a viable path without cap-season uncertainty.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Chile fintech jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
