Which distribution and wholesale companies sponsor H-1B1 Chile visas in Georgia?
Georgia-based distribution and wholesale employers with LCA filing history in specialty occupation roles include Home Depot, Genuine Parts Company, HD Supply, and McKesson, all headquartered or operating large regional hubs in the Atlanta metro. Savannah's port-adjacent logistics firms also generate sponsoring positions, particularly in supply chain analysis, procurement, and operations management functions that meet the H-1B1 visa specialty occupation standard.
Which cities in Georgia have the most distribution and wholesale H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta and its suburbs, including Smyrna, Kennesaw, and Duluth, hold the greatest concentration of qualifying roles given the city's status as a major wholesale and distribution headquarters market. Savannah is a strong secondary market, driven by the Port of Savannah's position as one of the busiest container ports in the country, attracting logistics and wholesale operations that require analytical and managerial specialty occupation staff.
What types of distribution and wholesale roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Chile sponsorship?
Roles that commonly meet the H-1B1 specialty occupation requirement in distribution and wholesale include supply chain analysts, demand planners, procurement specialists, logistics operations analysts, and inventory control managers, provided the position requires at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field such as supply chain management, industrial engineering, or business analytics. General warehouse or fulfillment associate positions, which do not require a specific degree, do not qualify.
How do I find distribution and wholesale H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa type and industry, making it straightforward to search for distribution and wholesale roles in Georgia where employers have verified H-1B1 Chile LCA filing history. Rather than manually reviewing DOL disclosure data, you can use Migrate Mate to identify Georgia employers already sponsoring Chilean nationals in supply chain and wholesale operations, then apply directly through the platform.
Are there state-specific or industry-specific considerations for H-1B1 Chile sponsorship in Georgia's distribution sector?
Georgia does not impose additional state-level visa requirements beyond federal H-1B1 standards, but employers in distribution and wholesale must still file a certified Labor Condition Application with the DOL confirming the offered wage meets the prevailing wage for the specific occupation and Georgia work location. Given the volume of port and logistics activity around Savannah and Atlanta, prevailing wage levels can vary meaningfully between metro Atlanta positions and positions at rural distribution centers, which affects the LCA filing specifics.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Chile distribution & wholesale jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
