Which investment management companies sponsor H-1B1 Chile visas in Georgia?
Atlanta-based and Atlanta-operating firms with established international hiring programs are the most consistent H-1B1 visa Chile sponsors in investment management. Invesco, which is headquartered in Atlanta, has filed Labor Condition Applications for investment-related roles. SS&C Technologies, BlackRock, and Fidelity Investments also maintain Georgia offices with compliance infrastructure capable of supporting H-1B1 Chile petitions for qualified Chilean nationals in analytical and fund management roles.
Which cities in Georgia have the most investment management H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the overwhelming majority of investment management H-1B1 Chile sponsorship opportunities in Georgia. The city's Buckhead and Midtown financial districts house the largest concentration of asset managers, wealth advisors, and fund administrators in the state. Smaller markets such as Alpharetta and Sandy Springs, which host fintech and financial services firms in Atlanta's northern suburbs, also generate occasional sponsorship roles for Chilean nationals.
What types of investment management roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Chile sponsorship?
Roles that require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field are eligible for H-1B1 Chile sponsorship. In investment management, this includes portfolio analyst, quantitative analyst, investment research associate, risk analyst, fund accountant, compliance analyst, and wealth management associate positions. Roles requiring degrees in finance, economics, mathematics, or accounting align well with the specialty occupation standard that USCIS applies to H-1B1 petitions.
How do I find investment management H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate filters investment management jobs in Georgia specifically for employers with H-1B1 Chile sponsorship history, using DOL Labor Condition Application data to surface verified sponsors. Rather than manually reviewing employer filings, you can search by role type and location on Migrate Mate to identify Atlanta-area firms that have previously supported Chilean nationals in finance and asset management positions, making your application process more targeted and efficient.
Are there state-specific or industry-specific considerations for H-1B1 Chile sponsorship in Georgia's investment management sector?
Georgia does not impose state-level visa sponsorship requirements beyond federal H-1B1 rules, but investment management employers in the state are often subject to SEC, FINRA, or state securities licensing requirements that affect role eligibility. Additionally, Georgia's growing fintech presence means some sponsoring employers blend asset management with technology functions, which can broaden the range of qualifying specialty occupation roles available to Chilean nationals under the H-1B1 category.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Chile investment management jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
