In medical devices, this commonly includes biomedical engineers, regulatory affairs specialists, quality systems engineers, R&D engineers, and clinical applications specialists. Are there any Indiana-specific considerations for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship in medical devices?
Indiana's medical devices cluster is heavily concentrated in Warsaw and Bloomington, meaning relocation to smaller cities may be necessary rather than working from a major metro. Many device employers in Indiana are mid-size manufacturers with dedicated HR and legal resources for sponsorship, but the H-1B visa1 Singapore visa requires a separate LCA from the standard H-1B, so confirming that a prospective employer's legal team is familiar with this specific visa subcategory before accepting an offer is worthwhile.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Singapore medical devices jobs in Indiana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
