REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy.
- Active Nebraska Pharmacist License.
- Current BLS/BCLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years of pharmacist experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
- Three years of retail pharmacy experience.
- Experience with Cerner EMR.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Dispense medications and verify prescriptions for accuracy and safety.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and interactions.
- Provide pharmaceutical information and therapeutic recommendations to physicians and nursing staff.
- Monitor medication therapy and patient outcomes.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Oversee pharmacy personnel involved in medication dispensing.
- Provide monthly consulting services to contracted long-term care facilities.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with HIPAA requirements.
- Process cash and credit transactions as required.
PAY
- $90.00 - $95.00 per hour
