Which e-commerce companies in Ohio sponsor H-1B1 Chile visas?
Several Ohio-headquartered retailers with significant e-commerce operations have filed Labor Condition Applications for H-1B1 Chile workers, including Abercrombie & Fitch, L Brands, Designer Brands, and Big Lots. Amazon and Wayfair also maintain fulfillment and tech operations in Ohio. Sponsorship varies by role and year, so reviewing DOL LCA disclosure data for each employer gives the most accurate picture of their H-1B1 Chile filing history.
Which Ohio cities have the most e-commerce H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs?
Columbus is Ohio's primary hub for e-commerce H-1B1 visa Chile roles, driven by its concentration of retail headquarters and a growing tech workforce. Cleveland and Cincinnati also have e-commerce employer presence, particularly in digital operations and logistics technology. Columbus accounts for the majority of LCA filings in this category, making it the strongest starting point for candidates targeting H-1B1 Chile sponsorship in Ohio's e-commerce industry.
What types of e-commerce roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Chile sponsorship in Ohio?
H-1B1 Chile sponsorship in Ohio's e-commerce sector most commonly applies to specialty occupations requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. Qualifying roles include software engineers building commerce platforms, data scientists analyzing customer behavior, UX designers, digital product managers, and business intelligence analysts. General retail operations roles typically do not meet the specialty occupation standard, while technical and analytical positions with clear degree requirements generally do.
How do I find e-commerce H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs in Ohio?
Migrate Mate filters e-commerce job listings in Ohio specifically by H-1B1 Chile visa sponsorship history, drawing on DOL LCA disclosure data to surface employers who have actively filed for this visa category. This lets you focus on companies with a verified track record rather than applying broadly and discovering sponsorship limitations later. You can filter by Ohio location and e-commerce industry to narrow results to the most relevant opportunities.
Are there any Ohio-specific or e-commerce-specific considerations for H-1B1 Chile sponsorship?
Ohio has no state-level visa registration requirement, so H-1B1 Chile sponsorship follows standard federal DOL and USCIS processes. Within e-commerce specifically, employers must file an LCA certifying the offered wage meets the prevailing wage for the occupation and location, determined using the OFLC Wage Search. Ohio's lower cost of living relative to coastal tech hubs can affect prevailing wage levels, which candidates should verify by checking the OFLC Wage Search for the specific occupation and county.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Chile e-commerce jobs in Ohio?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
