Responsibilities:
- Escorts/ Transports patients to/from nursing units, treatment and diagnostic areas safely and with respect for privacy and confidentiality as assigned.
- Correctly identifies patient, safely transports via wheelchair, cart or bed to the requested destination.
- Recognizes their limitations, and obtains additional information and assistance as needed.
- Upon order, does technical work in the conducting of Non-Invasive cardiology studies (EKG's) on all patients.
HOURS/SHIFTS:
- Full Time; Days. Holidays and call rotation required.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- BLS/CPR certificate
- Holiday rotation and call rotation required.
