About The Team
This role reports into our New Verticals team, which was launched in 2020 with the purpose of delighting our customers and empowering our local economies outside of just restaurants. Since then, we’ve launched Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol, Retail, and DashMarts while also building merchant services, dasher tooling and consumer products. This specific team within New Verticals is focused on incubating our next set of bets, with Consumer Financial Products and Services being one of our top priorities.
About The Role
We’re looking for a Manager to drive the growth of the DoorDash Gift Card program, owning both the external growth strategy and the internal execution that powers it. This role sits at the intersection of business development, strategy & operations, and analytics, with end-to-end ownership over initiatives that expand distribution, increase awareness, and grow gift card sales. You’ll work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, and Partnerships to design, launch, and iterate on campaigns and experiments aimed at acquiring first time gift card users. This includes launching new features to improve the in-app gift card purchasing experience, identifying and securing off-platform partnerships to drive awareness during key seasonal moments, and partnering with Marketing to execute high-impact holiday campaigns. You will report to the Senior Manager / GM of our Consumer Financials team and operate as an individual contributor. We operate in a hybrid model, where we spend some time collaborating in person and some time working from home.
You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will…
- Own business outcomes. Be accountable for the performance of the DoorDash Gift Cards program, setting goals, tracking KPIs, and driving measurable growth and ROI.
- Influence up and across. Own the growth strategy for DoorDash Gift Cards, serving as the face of the program to merchants and securing new placements and marketing opportunities across online and brick-and-mortar channels.
- You’re action oriented. You can implement scalable initiatives and best practices to provide a world-class operation for our three-sided marketplace.
- You solve problems from first principles. You’re excited to think innovatively, and you resist “this is how it’s always been done” thinking. You are consumer first, and not competitor focused.
- You’re equally comfortable operating at 10,000 feet and 1 foot. You don’t hesitate to get in the weeds and operate at the lowest level of detail, but you’re just as comfortable thinking long-term and inspiring a team.
- You experiment with data. You can build data models using tools like Excel and SQL to evaluate the economic and strategic costs and benefits of various programs and experiments. You will prove your hypotheses through operational experiments and running a/b tests.
We’re Excited About You Because…
- You have 6-8+ years of experience in tech, strategy, financial services, consulting, operations, CPG, food & beverage, AI or a related high-stakes environment.
- You’re customer obsessed. You possess the ability to think through what drives consumer spending and how to use customer insights to drive growth.
- You’re analytical. You possess a sharp analytical mind, and can extract and communicate meaningful insights from data to drive strategic decisions. You are comfortable with SQL and data visualization tools, while using AI to enhance your analytical outcomes.
- You’re comfortable in ambiguity. You thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and can independently translate high-level goals into actionable plans.
- You have leadership experience, directly or indirectly. You’ve mentored, coached, or developed teammates and are excited to grow into a people manager role over time.
- You have a completed Bachelor’s Degree.

Which e-commerce companies sponsor H-1B1 Singapore visas in Washington DC?
Federal contractors and consulting firms with digital commerce practices, such as Booz Allen Hamilton, Deloitte, and ICF, have filed H-1B1 visa Singapore Labor Condition Applications in the DC area. Amazon operates a significant regional presence, and mid-size e-commerce platforms serving government and nonprofit clients also appear in DOL disclosure data. Reviewing OFLC Labor Condition Application filings by employer and occupation gives the clearest picture of active sponsors.
Which cities in Washington DC have the most e-commerce H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs?
Washington DC itself, along with the adjacent Northern Virginia corridor covering Arlington, McLean, and Tysons, concentrates the most e-commerce H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship activity. Bethesda and Rockville in Maryland also host digital commerce employers. The broader National Capital Region functions as a single labor market for most e-commerce hiring, so searching across DC, Northern Virginia, and suburban Maryland captures the full opportunity set.
What types of e-commerce roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship?
Roles that qualify under the H-1B1 specialty occupation standard require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. In e-commerce, this typically covers software engineering, UX and product design, digital marketing analytics, data science, supply chain technology, and e-commerce platform management. Roles where any general degree suffices, rather than a specific field, may face greater scrutiny when the employer files the Labor Condition Application with DOL.
How do I find e-commerce H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs in Washington DC?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa type and location, so you can search for e-commerce roles with confirmed H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship history in Washington DC without manually reviewing DOL filings. The platform surfaces employers that have filed H-1B1 Labor Condition Applications for e-commerce occupations in the DC area, narrowing your search to companies already familiar with H-1B1 Singapore requirements rather than those new to the visa category.
Are there any Washington DC-specific considerations for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship in e-commerce?
DC's e-commerce market is shaped heavily by its proximity to federal agencies, meaning many digital commerce roles involve government contract work. Employers holding federal contracts must comply with E-Verify requirements and may have additional vetting steps. The DC metro area's prevailing wage levels for e-commerce occupations reflect a high cost-of-labor market, so employers must meet DOL wage standards that are generally above national averages, a factor worth confirming through the OFLC Wage Search before accepting an offer.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Singapore e-commerce jobs in Washington DC?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
