We are seeking a strategic self-starter and highly capable Compliance Project Manager to drive impactful compliance projects and key initiatives with a solid understanding of financial crime compliance regulations and compliance framework. The Project Manager manages the full project lifecycle, from planning to execution, while handling risk assessments, audit documentation, stakeholder communication, and updating policies to meet evolving regulatory requirements. This role will work closely with Global Legal Compliance ("GLC") leadership and subject matter experts to ensure clear communication and alignment among all global stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment. This individual will also support Global Legal Compliance leadership on team resource management, including but not limited to, the maintenance of teamwide resources and help resolve potential operational challenges to maintain team overall productivity.
A critical success factor for this role is the ability to operate as both a strategic leader and a hands-on contributor. The ideal candidate will not only excel at delegation and oversight but will also demonstrate a willingness to directly engage in tasks to address potential blockers and drive project progress. We are looking for a professional with high emotional intelligence who also possesses a strong sense of ownership and is prepared to contribute directly to the execution of deliverables and team success.
- End-to-End Project Management: Support GLC in the end-to-end planning and execution of compliance initiatives and projects. - Documentation & Reporting Management: Establish and maintain a centralized repository of all compliance project documentation, including project charters, decision logs, policy attestations, and control testing results, ensuring records are version-controlled, audit-ready, and retained in line with regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder Coordination/Relationship Management: Develop and lead coordination efforts with cross functional project partners and/or stakeholders. Serve as primary point of project contact and help create/update status trackers, dashboards, leadership presentations, and project briefings to keep leadership and cross-functional stakeholders informed and aligned. Manage stakeholder expectations and cultivate partnership and trust.
- Own and Develop Team-wide Resources and Tools: Create and update team-wide internal and external-facing resources and tools, such as employee outreach platforms, GLC team pages, master document repository, compliance training library, etc. Manage team deliverables and maintain record of critical updates/changes to policies, systems, and processes.
- Support GLC Leadership and Team Management: Serve as a steward of GLC Team culture and support for GLC Leadership on initiatives and strategic tasks related to team management, such as budget management, travel tracking, legal operations coordination (vendor onboarding and billing), team-wide meeting setting/tracking (e.g., All Hands). Provide event planning and execution of team events and workshops.
- Training & Communications (T&C) Lead: Partner with GLC subject matter experts and cross-functional partners to design and implement an effective T&C program/initiatives. Serve as primary eLearning compliance administrator and respond to inquiries on training completion statistics. Lead efforts to secure T&C design resources and promotion of materials. Help define and track T&C initiative effectiveness, utilizing data/metrics to inform T&C strategy.

Which social media companies sponsor H-1B1 Singapore visas in Washington DC?
In Washington DC, H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship in social media tends to come from large organizations with established international hiring programs rather than early-stage startups. Government contractors, global nonprofits, media companies, and policy-focused digital agencies have filed H-1B1 Labor Condition Applications in the past. Reviewing OFLC Labor Condition Application disclosure data by occupation and employer gives the clearest picture of which specific organizations have active sponsorship history.
Which cities in Washington DC have the most social media H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs?
Washington DC itself is a single-district jurisdiction, so the job market is concentrated in the District proper rather than spread across multiple cities. Neighborhoods like Dupont Circle, Capitol Hill, and the Penn Quarter corridor house many associations, advocacy organizations, and media companies that hire for social media roles. Some remote-eligible positions posted by DC-based employers may also be accessible to Singapore nationals already in the U.S. on H-1B1 visa status.
What types of social media roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship?
H-1B1 sponsorship applies to specialty occupation roles, meaning positions that require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. In social media, qualifying roles commonly include social media strategist, digital content manager, paid social media analyst, social media data analyst, and communications manager with a digital focus. Generalist coordinator roles without a specific degree requirement may not meet the specialty occupation standard that USCIS applies to H-1B1 petitions.
How do I find social media H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs in Washington DC?
Migrate Mate lets you filter job listings specifically by visa type, including H-1B1 Singapore, and by industry, so you can surface social media roles in Washington DC from employers with verified sponsorship history. This saves time compared to manually cross-referencing job postings with OFLC Labor Condition Application data. Searching by occupation code on Migrate Mate also helps identify which DC employers have sponsored similar social media roles in recent filing periods.
Are there Washington DC-specific considerations for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship in social media?
Washington DC's social media job market is heavily influenced by policy, advocacy, and international affairs, which shapes the type of employers offering H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship. Many DC employers in this space are nonprofits, trade associations, or government contractors, each with different HR capacities for immigration sponsorship. Because the H-1B1 requires a Labor Condition Application certified by DOL before visa issuance, candidates should confirm early in the hiring process whether a prospective employer has handled H-1B1 filings before.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Singapore social media jobs in Washington DC?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
