Which accounting companies sponsor H-1B1 Singapore visas in Washington?
Washington's largest H-1B1 Singapore sponsors in accounting tend to be multinational technology companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, and Boeing, alongside the Seattle and Bellevue offices of Deloitte, PwC, Ernst & Young, and KPMG. Publicly traded regional banks and financial institutions operating in Seattle also file Labor Condition Applications for accounting roles with some regularity. Sponsorship activity varies by employer size and year, so reviewing DOL OFLC disclosure data gives the most current picture of active filers.
Which cities in Washington have the most accounting H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs?
Seattle holds the highest concentration of accounting H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship activity in Washington, driven by its dense cluster of corporate headquarters, financial services firms, and Big Four offices. Bellevue and Redmond follow closely, largely because of the Microsoft campus and the broader Eastside technology corridor. Tacoma and Spokane offer a smaller volume of opportunities, primarily through regional accounting firms and healthcare organizations with international staffing needs.
What types of accounting roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship?
Roles that routinely qualify require at least a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a directly related field as a standard job requirement. Positions such as financial analyst, internal auditor, tax associate, management accountant, and external audit associate commonly meet the specialty occupation standard. General bookkeeping or data-entry roles that accept any degree field typically do not qualify. Employers confirm the degree requirement through the Labor Condition Application filed with DOL before extending an H-1B1 offer.
How do I find accounting H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs in Washington?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search: it surfaces accounting roles at Washington employers with verified H-1B1 Singapore LCA filing history, so you can focus on companies that have already demonstrated willingness to sponsor rather than cold-applying broadly. Filter by state and visa type to see active listings in Seattle, Bellevue, and beyond. You can also cross-reference employer names against the DOL OFLC disclosure database to review past filing volumes before applying.
Are there Washington-specific considerations for H-1B1 Singapore accounting sponsorship?
Washington has no state income tax, which affects how employers structure compensation benchmarks relative to DOL prevailing wage requirements. For accounting roles, the prevailing wage is determined by occupation code and geographic area using the OFLC Wage Search tool; the Seattle-Bellevue-Everett metropolitan area typically carries higher wage levels than rural Washington counties. Washington's active CPA licensure market also means some senior roles may require or prefer a Washington State CPA license, which Singaporean professionals can pursue through the Washington State Board of Accountancy after meeting education and examination requirements.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Singapore accounting jobs in Washington?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
