GENERAL PURPOSE AND SCOPE

These positions are part-time, temporary positions filled each semester on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Program Chair in special projects and/or Faculty in agriculture business or horticulture labs
• Setting up lab equipment
• Equipment maintenance
• Clean-up after labs and as needed

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Enrolled as an agriculture student at Ivy Tech Lafayette campus
• Computer literate with good Excel knowledge

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience operating and maintaining agriculture equipment
• Familiar with horticulture equipment and greenhouse operations

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Copies of transcripts may be required at time of interview
• Original transcripts will be required at time of hire
• Selected candidate for employment will be subject to pre-employment background checks, including criminal history check, and any offer of employment will be contingent upon that outcome
