Our Approach to Flexible Work
With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.

AI Engineer Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a ai engineer in Georgia?
AI engineers in Georgia are not required to hold a state-issued license, so the path centers on education and demonstrated skills. Most roles require at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field, though many Georgia employers, especially in defense contracting and fintech, prefer candidates with a master's degree. Building a portfolio of deployed models and earning recognized certifications from cloud providers such as AWS or Google strengthens competitiveness in this market.
Which companies hire ai engineers in Georgia?
Employers hiring ai engineers in Georgia right now include The Home Depot, EY, and Capgemini, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Georgia's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters in Atlanta and large defense contractors around Augusta and Marietta makes the state a consistently active market for AI talent.
Which Georgia cities have the most ai engineer jobs?
The cities with the most ai engineer openings in Georgia are Atlanta, Alpharetta, and Georgia. Atlanta dominates the distribution due to its dense cluster of technology companies, financial institutions, and corporate headquarters, while other metros draw demand from defense contractors, academic medical centers, and logistics technology firms that have established significant operations outside the capital.

Yes, and more than most fields. About 68% of ai engineer openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how naturally the work translates to distributed teams. Model development, experimentation, and research tasks are most commonly performed remotely, while roles involving on-premises hardware, sensitive government systems, or close cross-functional collaboration are more likely to require in-person presence.
How can I get hired as a ai engineer in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a junior machine learning engineer or data analyst role, where foundational model work overlaps with AI engineering responsibilities. Georgia Tech's research labs and affiliated startup programs regularly bring in early-career contributors, and large Atlanta-area employers in fintech and healthcare IT hire associate-level AI roles for candidates who can show project work through a public portfolio or GitHub repository. Completing a cloud provider certification and contributing to open-source ML projects can substitute for direct employer experience.
