INTRODUCTION
We're looking for a Lead Analytics Consultant to serve as a strategic partner and trusted analytics advisor to our clients. You'll work with clients and internal teams to make sense of ambiguous business problems and turn them into clear analytics strategy. Deep expertise in Adobe Analytics and Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) is essential to this role, but what sets our consultants apart is the ability to pair that technical fluency with strong communication and a genuine talent for finding the story in the data. You'll shape how clients think about measurement, testing, and decision-making, not just execute tickets.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Analytics Design & Implementation:
- Strategize and design analytics implementations for Adobe Analytics and Adobe Customer Journey Analytics in partnership with clients, analytics engineers and developers
- Conduct measurement strategy workshops and gather requirements to inform analytics strategy
- Audit existing implementations of Adobe Analytics and Adobe Customer Journey Analytics
- Produce and maintain analytics documentation (BRDs, SDRs, TDDs)
- Understand the analytics instrumentation process and make best-practice recommendations to improve data capture in Adobe Analytics and CJA
- Configure report suites in Adobe Analytics in accordance with analytics requirements and web tracking
- Configure multi-channel implementations of CJA, including connections, data views and other components. Understand identity resolution concepts and requirements
Insights, Data Storytelling:
- Dig into the data to uncover insights that matter to the business, not just what's easy to report
- Build dashboards and reporting in Adobe Analytics and CJA Workspace that tell a clear story
- Translate findings into narratives that executives and marketing leaders can act on
Client Strategy & Partnership:
- Act as a trusted advisor to marketing leaders, internal teams, and client stakeholders, guiding analytics strategy rather than just fulfilling requests
- Translate ambiguous client needs into structured, workable analytics solutions
- Make sure client expectations are met and results are consistently delivered
- Explain complex ideas clearly in speech and writing to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Present analytics findings and run hands-on, customized training sessions for clients and internal teams
Adaptability & Growth:
- Handle a fast-paced environment and work through technical and business challenges as they come up
- Prioritize well, focusing on the work that actually moves the needle
- Stay involved in the analytics community through meet-ups, conferences, blogs, or open-source work
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience working in an agency environment
- 5+ years of working with Adobe Analytics and Adobe Customer Journey Analytics
- Solid grasp of the analytics implementation process, reporting, and analysis
- Adobe Analytics certification and Adobe Customer Journey Analytics certification
- Exposure to other AEP solutions (RT-CDP, AJO) is a plus

Mid Level Analytics Consultant Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level analytics consultant job?
Position your experience around ownership and impact rather than tasks completed. Highlight projects where you led the analysis, shaped a recommendation, or influenced a business decision. Employers hiring at this level want candidates who can work independently, communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders, and contribute beyond execution. Tailor your resume to show measurable outcomes and the scope of problems you have handled.
Which companies hire mid level analytics consultants?
Companies hiring mid level analytics consultants right now include Analytic Partners, Deloitte, and PNC Financial Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Hiring at this level covers large consulting firms and enterprise organizations with dedicated analytics practices, as well as growth-stage companies building out their data functions.
Are there remote mid level analytics consultant jobs?
Yes, and the share is substantial. About 40% of mid level analytics consultant openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how widely employers have embraced flexible arrangements for roles that rely on data tools and collaboration software rather than physical presence. Filtering by work setting on Migrate Mate lets you focus on the format that fits your situation.
How do I move up to a mid level analytics consultant role?
Growth from early-career into mid level comes from deepening your technical skills, taking on progressively larger scopes of work, and building a record of independent contribution. Focus on owning a full analysis from framing through recommendation, seeking projects with visible business impact, and developing the ability to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders. Mentorship from senior analysts and exposure to cross-functional work accelerates the transition.
Which industries hire the most mid level analytics consultants?
Mid Level analytics consultant roles concentrate in Consulting & Professional Services, Technology & Software, and Banking & Financial Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because they generate high volumes of complex data and rely on consultants who can move quickly from analysis to actionable insight without heavy supervision.
