We are seeking an experienced Automation & Robotics Deployment Engineer to join our team in Santa Clara, CA. The ideal candidate brings a strong troubleshooting mindset and hands-on expertise with cutting-edge Zebra hardware/software, AMR/AGV platforms, and Industry 4.0 frameworks.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- 4–7 years of proven experience in automation engineering, specifically focusing on robotics automation and process automation.
- Zebra Technologies Integration: Lead the hands-on deployment and real-time integration of Zebra MotionWorks, Zebra readers, and associated software tools within our automation environments.
- Robotics & Layout Design: Design advanced warehouse and factory layouts that seamlessly incorporate Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), leveraging platforms like Geek+ and Standard Robots.
- Automated Workflows: Conceptualize and implement automated workflows optimizing parts storage, material movement, and real-time asset tracking across production and warehousing operations.
- Emerging Tech Deployment: Support the end-to-end deployment of operational technologies, including IoT systems, RFID solutions, Vision Inspection Systems, and Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS).
- System Troubleshooting: Maintain and troubleshoot integrated automation environments, bridging hardware with foundational networking, Linux, IT infrastructure, and middleware layers.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: BE, B.Tech, M.Tech, or equivalent degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Manufacturing Technology, or Industrial Automation.
