JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Business Development Coordinator to drive strategic growth in the organic agriculture and home gardening markets. You’ll focus on understanding customers, spotting opportunities, shaping go-to-market plans, and building partnerships.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Support: Give expert technical advice to farmers, ranchers, agribusiness pros, and home gardeners on nutrition, soil, pests, and product use

Market research: Research markets and competitors; identify trends and opportunities (e.g., home gardens, regenerative practices)

Promotional Campaigns: Plan and execute seasonal campaigns, product launches, and promotions tied to growing cycles

Customer Relation: Build partnerships with distributors, co-ops, industry groups, and gardening communities

Product Advisement: Guide product positioning, merchandising, and inventory based on customer and market feedback
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ecommerce Assistant: Support Shopify store operations: update catalog, seasonal merchandising, inventory sync, and basic troubleshooting
QUALIFICATIONS

Degree or educational background related to Agriculture, Horticulture, Agribusiness, or a related field preferred

Familiarity with farming, gardening, plant care, or animal health

Bilingual English-Spanish strongly preferred

Experience with Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms a plus

Great communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset

Organized, proactive, and eager to learn
PAY
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
