Overview:
Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy. Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.
Job Description Summary:
Installs, repairs, operates, and maintains all HVAC and Mechanical systems within the Hospital.
Job Description:
Essential Functions:
- Installs, maintains, and repairs HVAC systems and equipment.
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots HVAC system and equipment issues.
- Tests HVAC systems and components for proper functioning.
- Cleans HVAC systems and equipment to ensure proper performance.
- Calibrates HVAC systems and equipment to manufacturer's specifications.
- Keeps accurate records of all HVAC system and equipment maintenance and repairs.
Education Requirement:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- Associate's Degree in HVAC, Facility Maintenance, Electro-Mechanical or Electronics, preferred.
Licensure Requirement:
Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy and position-specific requirements. Must pass motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications, and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.
Certifications:
EPA Universal Certification, preferred.
Experience:
Five years of related trade experience (Hospital Facility Maintenance desirable), required.
