INTRODUCTION
The Carpenter/Painter performs necessary carpentry and painting duties to maintain facilities in good repair and appearance.
Pay: $25-30/hourly

Responsibilities:
- Perform the carpentry duties necessary to maintain in good repair building woodwork and equipment such as bins, counters, benches, partitions, and doors.
- Plan and lay out work from blueprints, drawings, models, or verbal instructions, using a variety of carpenter's hand tools, portable power tools, and standard measuring instruments.
- Make standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work.
- Select materials necessary for the work.
- Paint walls, woodwork, and fixtures.
- Identify surface peculiarities and determine the types of paint required for different applications.
- Prepare surface for painting by removing old finish or by placing putty or filler in nail holes.
- Mix colors, oils, white lead and other paint ingredients to obtain proper color or consistency.
- Use spray gun and/or brush to apply paint.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- 3-5 years of carpentry experience required.
