DAY SHIFT
6:00 am - 2:30 pm
PM SHIFT
2:15 pm - 10:45 pm
NIGHT SHIFT
10:30 pm - 7:00 am
Rotating weekends and holidays
PRN Opportunities
Minimum of 1 weekend per month (Saturday & Sunday) and 1 holiday per year
DUTIES:
- Administers direct personal care to residents
- Responsible to provide a safe environment for residents and co-workers by following all established safety policies and procedures
- Responsible for using mechanical lifts and/or manually assisting resident transfers using forces up to 60 pounds frequently
- Responsible for transportation of residents requiring the physical act of pushing and/or pulling a variety of types of chairs up to 30 lbs. on a frequent basis
- Encourages the residents’ participation in the activity program and assist with transporting as needed
- Will make and change linen on residents' beds according to established procedure or according to the wishes of the resident
- Must respect and uphold resident rights in all regards including confidentiality of resident information
- Maintains vigil and care for dying residents and assist the resident and their family in coping with the dying process and death
- Keeps written notes and record pertinent resident information on the resident’s permanent record and report to the charge nurse
- Demonstrates Missouri Slope’s customer service standards of excellence
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Current CNA certification from North Dakota required or an equivalent or higher license, including PT and OT licenses
- Successfully pass a drug test, background check, including criminal history, certification registries, and employment history
- Completion of training as required by Missouri Slope
- Employees at Missouri Slope are required to receive the annual influenza vaccination as a condition of employment. Successful candidates must either get the vaccination (which is covered by the employer), provide proof of a current vaccination, or obtain an approved accommodation on their start date. This requirement is in place to safeguard the health and safety of our employees, patients/clients, and the community we serve, in alignment with state and federal health guidelines. Exemptions may be made for medical reasons (e.g., documented allergy or medical contraindication) or sincerely held religious beliefs that prevent vaccination. Requests for such accommodations will be handled on a case-by-case basis in accordance with applicable federal and state laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
