Certified Nurse Midwife Jobs in Virginia

Hygge Wellness is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our rapidly growing practice in Harrisonburg, VA. As a CNM at Hygge Wellness, you will have the opportunity to provide full-scope midwifery care with a great deal of professional autonomy. Our midwives have privileges to attend and manage our patient’s births at the local hospital, Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital (RMH). Our team is backed up and supported by obstetricians and CNM laborists from OBHG, a national hospitalist group.

Are you looking for a fellowship to expand skills in ultrasonography, infertility/IUI, lactation/IBCLC, infant care, nutrition, movement/position work for improving pregnancy and birth outcomes. One and Two year fellowships available that will provide you with the clinical time, experience, and training opportunities in these areas.

CNM qualifications and requirements:

• Masters required
• American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) certification
• Active RN and CNM licenses in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Current BLS and NRP certification
• Ability to be added to malpractice policy
• Lactation and infant care experience, or a desire to expand these skills
• Experience with labor support, spinning babies, physiologic birth
• Shift – clinic shifts and alternating weekend call

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $110,000.00 per year
