Unique opportunity: Midwifery led care, Comprehensive doula services, Freestanding birth center and hospital.
Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is seeking a part-time Certified Nurse-Midwife to proudly provide high-quality, compassionate, and personalized care for our ethnically and culturally diverse birthing patients and newborns.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Highlights:
- Provide full-scope midwifery care (antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and GYN) in clinics and labor and delivery unit
- Part-Time, 28 hours per week, day/evening/nights
- MNA Cambridge Union position
- 2 Clinic Shifts and 1 Labor & Delivery Shift per week
- Shifts and L&D/birth center on-call coverage scheduled 2 months in advance
- Collegial team environment
- Opportunities to teach students and bring awareness of midwifery services to the community
- Competitive salary and benefit package Base pay rate: $64 - $115/hour
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified candidates will have:
- A master’s degree
- Registered nurse licensed
- Certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board
- A minimum of two years of experience providing full scope midwifery care as a certified nurse-midwife
New grads with relevant experience may be considered. Experience with newborns preferred. Birth center or doula experience preferred. Current Basic Life Support “C” certification and NPR status is required. Bilingual skills are preferred but not required. However, a commitment to caring for everyone, at any time is essential.
