About the Role
The primary responsibility is supporting customers in the successful adoption, optimization, and strategic use of Innovaccer technology solutions to achieve business, regulatory, and clinical outcomes. This role bridges clinical knowledge with technology, ensuring solutions align with workflow needs, regulatory requirements, and measurable performance outcomes. The consultant partners closely with customers, internal product teams, and implementation stakeholders to design, configure, and operationalize high-value clinical programs.
A Day in the Life
Customer Engagement
- Deliver ongoing clinical training, workflow support, and best-practice recommendations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clinical leaders, care managers, physicians, and operational teams.
- Monitor adoption, identify gaps, and recommend optimization strategies from a value framework.
- Support change management initiatives by helping customers adapt workflows and processes.
- Ability to work across all time zones.
Clinical Workflow & Solution Design
- Translate clinical requirements—care management, quality improvement, chronic disease management, utilization management—into solution configurations.
- Advise customers on best practices for workflow design, assessments, protocols, risk stratification, and care coordination.
- Lead clinical discovery sessions to capture requirements and align platform capabilities with clinical objectives.
- Configure and optimize clinical programs, protocols, assessments, and workflows within the platform.
- Ensure solution design aligns with evidence-based practices and compliance requirements (e.g., HEDIS, CMS, value-based care models).
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and implementation teams to ensure successful delivery and adoption.
- Influence product enhancement and development through clinical insight from the field.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to advise on roadmap items based on clinical trends and customer needs.
- Work with Marketing to develop clinically accurate content, case studies, and customer success stories.
- Support implementation teams during client onboarding to ensure seamless clinical workflow activation and program launch.
- Partner with Customer Success on retention and expansion strategies grounded in clinical outcome data.
Data Interpretation & Performance Improvement
- Review program performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide clinical interpretation of analytics, care gaps, risk stratification, and quality measures.
- Partner with customers to create performance improvement plans and measure outcomes.
- Bring clinical insights from customer engagements to inform product roadmap prioritization and program development.
Thought Leadership & Market Expertise
- Stay up-to-date on clinical standards, regulatory changes, and value-based care models (CMS, HEDIS, ACO, MA, JCAHO, NCQA, etc.).
- Represent the company at conferences, webinars, and industry events as a clinical voice as needed.
- Bring clinical insights from customer engagements to inform product roadmap prioritization and program development.
What You Need
- Clinical licensure
- 3 years or more of experience in clinical practice, care management, population health, or ambulatory clinical operations.
- Experience using healthcare technology platforms such as EHRs, care management systems, or analytics tools.
- Strong understanding of value-based care, care coordination, chronic disease management, and quality programs.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to translate clinical workflows into technical requirements.
- Comfortable with online & remote schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare technology or SaaS environments.
- Background in implementation, consulting, or clinical informatics.
- Familiarity with interoperability, analytics, and clinical workflow design.
- Knowledge of regulatory and quality frameworks (e.g., HEDIS, CMS Stars, ACO, Medicare Advantage).
- Flexible with the combination of licensure & experience.
