Position Summary
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Clinical Operations, the Vice President, Clinical Operations of NC, SC, and GA is the Operational leader and liaison between the field and Resource Center accountable for exemplifying operational discipline and rigor to lead high-performing teams to deliver Key Desired Results (KDRs), effectively leading through change and driving a growth-oriented, patient-first culture.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring the coordinated and cohesive performance within assigned Area to optimize clinical care delivery outcomes; align operations to enterprise strategies and standards.
- Execute strategic priorities and achieve through leadership, influence and coaching.
- Develop and oversee deployment of area strategic business development plan and standard operating procedures to achieve business and financial goals, growth and profit and ensure that all Key Desired Results (KDRs) are achieved.
- Implement employee-driven strategies to deliver financial results and achieve P&L targets and measure performance against agreed upon deliverables, making appropriate adjustments to achieve expected results.
- Proven experience developing organizational talent, leading and managing a high-performing team to include selection, work allocation, training, coaching, mentoring, problem resolution, and performance management.
- Proactively identifies synergies and efficiency opportunities to strengthen inter-Area alignment, enhance clinician experience, and maximize clinical and financial outcomes.
- Combine strong market and patient insights with analytical and strategic thinking and disciplined financial management.
- Build and maintain high-performing teams, enduring relationships and strategic partnerships across executives, physicians, employees and large (multi-regional) relationships with referral sources including healthcare systems and orthopedic groups.
- Ensure cohesive care delivery across Area, reinforcing alignment to enterprise strategies while enabling value-added local variation where appropriate.
- Develop operational plans and goals based on a deep understanding of internal and external trends and a demonstrated understanding of Athletico’s strategic initiatives.
- Act as a primary communicator for enterprise and Area initiatives ensuring consistent communication and reinforcement of company policies and service expectations across the Area.
Qualifications
- Education:
+ Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Healthcare.
- Work Experience:
+ 10 or more years of leading and managing teams, preferably in healthcare or retail industries, with experience managing multiple departments.
+ Experience managing multi-site operations.
- Certification/Licensure:
+ None required
- Knowledge and Technical Skills:
+ Leads successfully through change, with a passion for operational excellence and strength in system integration across complex, matrixed environments.
+ Proven track record of developing and motivating a high performing team.
+ Proven consistency in executing operational discipline and rigor.
+ Executive communication and influence. Exceptional communicator and presenter with the ability to influence, facilitate, persuade and effectively delegate at all levels.

- Possess the ability to fulfill any office activities normally expected in an office setting, to include, but not limited to: remaining seated for periods of time to perform computer based work, participating in filing activity, lifting and carrying office supplies (paper reams, mail, etc.)
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel, and reach with hand and arms
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20-25 pounds
- Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding)

- Travel required based assigned territory and clients within territory
- Must reside in one of the assigned markets (NC, SC, GA)
