INTRODUCTION
The Department of Pathology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor. The primary responsibility will include shared service rotation within the Clinical Immunology Lab of the Northwestern Memorial Hospital Laboratories. It is expected that the successful candidate will have other areas of expertise within Clinical or Anatomic Pathology Divisions, such as Clinical Chemistry, Transfusion Medicine, Hematopathology, Microbiology, Renal Pathology or others. In addition to clinical responsibilities and research, faculty are expected to play an active role in teaching and training medical students, residents, and fellows.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified candidates will hold an MD, or MD/PhD degree. Candidates should be trained and Board Certified in Clinical Pathology (CP) or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Rank and remuneration are determined by qualifications and experience. The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.
COMPENSATION
The expected base pay range for this position is $175,000 - $245,000. Northwestern University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal comparators; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
