- Progressive Care Unit (Stepdown) in an acute care hospital, Trauma Level 2
- 24-bed unit with 1:3 or 1:4 patient ratio depending on acuity
- Patient population includes dysrhythmias, cardiopulmonary issues, sepsis, high-flow O2 needs, and behavioral patients requiring IV drip medications
- Administers medication drips including dopamine, levophed, cardizem, heparin, precedex, nitro, amio, dobutamine, and Nicardine
- 12-hour Day shifts
- May work up to every other weekend
- Uses EPIC EMR
- High patient throughput typical of step-down units
Requirements
- Active IL RN license required
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- BSN not required
