How do I get a clinical research associate job in Miami?
Target Miami's contract research organizations, academic medical centers like Jackson Health System and the University of Miami Health System, and the growing cluster of biotech and pharmaceutical firms in Doral and Brickell. Candidates with hands-on GCP training, ACRP or SOCRA certification, and therapeutic area experience in oncology or cardiology stand out locally. Spanish fluency is a genuine differentiator in Miami's bilingual clinical environment.
Which companies hire clinical research associates in Miami?
Employers hiring clinical research associates in Miami right now include University of Miami, Nicklaus Children's Health System, and Baptist Health South Florida, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of October 2026. Miami's hiring mix leans toward contract research organizations, hospital-affiliated research programs, and specialty pharmaceutical companies drawn to the city's diverse patient population and strong academic medical infrastructure.
Are there remote clinical research associate jobs in Miami?
Yes, though with limits: clinical research associate work is largely site-dependent, so fully remote roles are less common than in desk-based fields. About 30% of clinical research associate openings tied to Miami are remote or hybrid as of October 2026, skewing toward data review, regulatory documentation, and sponsor oversight roles rather than site monitoring visits.
How can I get a clinical research associate job in Miami with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Miami is through a clinical research coordinator role at one of the city's hospital networks or academic research programs, where you build direct site experience before stepping into a CRA position. University of Miami's clinical trials office and Jackson Health System's research department regularly bring on coordinators. Volunteering for IRB committees or joining Miami's local ACRP chapter can accelerate your transition into monitoring work.
