Clinical Research Director Jobs in Nevada: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a clinical research director in Nevada?
The path typically starts with a degree in a clinical or life sciences field, followed by years of hands-on research coordination or monitoring work before moving into management. Nevada does not issue a state-specific license for clinical research directors, but employers expect candidates to hold or pursue credentials through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals or the Society of Clinical Research Associates. Hospital systems and research sites in Las Vegas and Reno generally promote from within their coordinator and manager ranks.
Which companies hire clinical research directors in Nevada?
Employers hiring clinical research directors in Nevada right now include Thermo Fisher Scientific, Click Bond, and Renown Health, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Nevada's largest hiring activity is anchored by academic medical centers and multi-site clinical organizations that maintain dedicated research departments across the Las Vegas metropolitan area.
Which Nevada cities have the most clinical research director jobs?
Las Vegas, Reno, and Nevada account for the most clinical research director openings in Nevada. Las Vegas drives the majority of postings because of its large hospital networks and growing number of sponsored trial sites, while Reno's openings are closely tied to Renown Health and the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, both of which operate active research programs.
Are there remote clinical research director jobs in Nevada?
Yes, and they exist more than in most clinical roles, though hands-on site oversight duties still pull many positions on-site. About 11% of clinical research director openings tied to Nevada are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting the administrative and regulatory portions of the role that can be performed off-site. Protocol development, sponsor communication, and data review are the functions most likely to be done remotely.
How can I get hired as a clinical research director in Nevada with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point is a clinical research coordinator role at a Nevada hospital or research site, where you build the trial management and regulatory foundation employers expect before promoting into director-level work. University Medical Center of Southern Nevada and Renown Health both run coordinator programs that have served as a pipeline into leadership. Earning a CCRC credential early signals commitment and can offset limited experience when applying for associate director or manager roles that bridge toward a director title.
Where can I find and apply to clinical research director jobs in Nevada?
You can find and apply to clinical research director jobs in Nevada on Migrate Mate, which lists current Nevada openings updated in real time. Search the available roles, identify the ones that match your experience and therapeutic focus, and apply directly to each position that fits.
