Duties

The therapist is responsible for providing services to clients in an in-person setting. This includes counseling, education and support; treatment planning/treatment; case management; evaluations, referrals and more. The therapist will be responsible for the development of therapeutic interventions that are appropriate to client needs and goals as well as developing effective strategies to achieve them.

Detailed job duties include:

• Provide mental health support to clients in an in-person setting
• Establish positive, trusting rapport with clients
• Create individualized treatment plans according to client needs and circumstances
• Conduct ongoing assessments of client progress

Qualifications

• Must align with Whole Self Counseling’s values of trauma-informed, compassionate, sustainable (we are almost completely paperless!), client-centered, culturally-competent, non-shaming-or-judging mental health care
• Commitment to social justice and decolonization of therapy practice/access
• Adherence to a professional code of ethics
• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field
• Must be licensed by the NM licensure board as an independent practitioner (e.g., LCSW, LPCC, LFMT, etc.)

Full-time position comes with benefits and the expectation you will have 25 client contact hours a week. This is a W-2 position.
