Job Summary
We are hiring Senior CNC Machinists to support our climate-controlled, high-mix, low-volume precision machining facility in Tulsa, OK. We are an industry-leading manufacturer building advanced, custom equipment for the construction and utilities industries.
In this role, you will be working with massive, highly complex components. Our shop floor features heavy-duty machinery, including lots of Mazak equipment, large format 5-axis mill-turns, gantry 5-axis mills, vertical turret lathes (VTLs), horizontal mills, and machines with multi-pallet systems. Machining large-format parts is a unique, highly rewarding challenge that will elevate your craftsmanship to the next level.
You are not expected to walk in on day one with experience running these exact machines—while that is preferred, what we truly value are smart, growth-minded problem solvers who are eager to learn and can rise to the challenge of large-scale precision work.
Why Join Us?
- Massive Scale: The rare opportunity to challenge your skills by working on complex, large-format parts and state-of-the-art heavy equipment.
- Culture of Ownership: A strong family-owned feel that heavily values hard work, growth, and collaboration over siloed work.
- Rewarding Growth: Profit sharing, rapid raises, and an environment eager to cross-train you on advanced machinery.
Compensation
- $29.00 - $34 / hr
- Profit sharing + rapid raises

- Weekend Shift: Friday – Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (3 x 12s — work 36 hours, get paid for 40)
Responsibilities
- Setup & Operation: Perform highly complex, independent set-ups, including instances where no work holding/fixture is available, requiring you to build your own set-up from scratch.
- Process Ownership: Perform prove-outs of new programs and machining processes. Fluently read, make edits, and optimize CNC programs (G-code/M-code) directly at the machine to maintain quality and throughput.
- Precision & Measurement: Size in first-articles using offsets and observed measurements with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and indicators. Operate advanced inspection equipment, including Micro-Hite & Faro Arms.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve non-conformance, machine, tooling, and material issues autonomously on the fly.
- Documentation & Specs: Read and interpret complex drawings, symbols, and strict GD&T tolerances.
- Efficiency & Quality: Identify and select the correct material for each job, meeting or beating assigned run times while holding strict specifications.
- Leadership: Effectively train and mentor other machinists on the floor, sharing knowledge and proactively suggesting continuous process improvements.
