Frame Your Experience Around Procurement Contracts
Aditi places Contract Specialists with clients managing vendor agreements, SOWs, and procurement cycles. Tailor your resume to show direct contract lifecycle experience rather than general administrative work, since staffing firms evaluate candidates against client-specific requirements before extending an offer.
Clarify Your Visa Status Before the Recruiter Screen
Aditi uses a recruiter-first hiring model, so your visa status comes up early. Know exactly what authorization you hold, when it expires, and whether you need sponsorship now or after OPT ends. Ambiguity at the recruiter stage slows placement timelines considerably.
Target Roles Listed as Client-Facing Requisitions
Many open Contract Specialist positions at Aditi are tied to specific client engagements, not internal headcount. Use Migrate Mate to filter and browse active Contract Specialist openings at Aditi so you're applying to funded roles with real timelines, not pipeline postings.
Verify That the End Client Supports Visa Sponsorship
In staffing arrangements, the sponsoring employer is Aditi, but the end client controls the role scope and sometimes the start date. Confirm early in the process that the client has approved visa-sponsored candidates, since some enterprise procurement clients restrict consultant categories.
Align Your Degree Field to Contract or Supply Chain Functions
H-1B approval for Contract Specialist roles depends on demonstrating specialty occupation status. A degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field strengthens your case with USCIS. A general business degree with no contract-specific coursework can draw a Request for Evidence.
Understand How TN Status Applies to This Role
Canadian and Mexican nationals can qualify for TN status in management consultant or engineer categories if the Contract Specialist role involves qualifying duties. Review DOL guidelines on TN occupational categories with your employer before the offer letter is drafted, since the job description wording determines eligibility.

Find Contract Specialist at Aditi Consulting JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Aditi Consulting sponsor H-1B visas for Contract Specialists?
Yes, Aditi Consulting sponsors H-1B visas for Contract Specialist roles. As a staffing and recruiting firm, Aditi is the employer of record in these arrangements, meaning they file the H-1B petition on your behalf even when you're placed at a client site. The role must qualify as a specialty occupation, which typically requires a relevant bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or a related field.
Which visa types are commonly used for Contract Specialist roles at Aditi Consulting?
Aditi Consulting sponsors H-1B and H-1B1 visas for longer-term placements, and actively works with candidates on F-1 OPT and F-1 CPT for shorter engagements or candidates still in their academic authorization window. TN status is also an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals if the role duties align with a qualifying TN occupational category under the USMCA.
How do I apply for Contract Specialist jobs at Aditi Consulting?
You can browse and apply for open Contract Specialist positions at Aditi Consulting through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship type so you can see which openings are relevant to your authorization status. Aditi's hiring process typically starts with a recruiter screen, followed by a client-specific interview. Have your visa status, authorization dates, and degree documentation ready before that first call.
What qualifications are expected for Contract Specialist roles at Aditi Consulting?
Most Contract Specialist roles at Aditi require experience with contract lifecycle management, vendor negotiations, or procurement processes. A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related discipline is standard. For visa-sponsored candidates, the degree field needs to align with the role's duties, since USCIS evaluates specialty occupation status based on that connection.
How does the H-1B filing timeline work when placed through Aditi Consulting?
Aditi files the H-1B petition as your sponsoring employer. Cap-subject H-1B filings open in March for an October 1 start date, so your offer and paperwork need to be in place before the registration window. If you're already on OPT, you may be eligible for the OPT STEM extension, which gives you up to 24 additional months of work authorization while waiting for H-1B selection.
