How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Aflac Visa Sponsorship USA
Target roles in technology and data
Aflac's sponsorship activity is concentrated in technical functions supporting its insurance operations, think software engineering, data analytics, and IT infrastructure. Focusing your search on these departments improves your odds of landing a sponsored role.
Understand Aflac's Green Card commitment
Aflac has a track record of sponsoring both H-1B visas and permanent residency. If long-term stability matters to you, ask during interviews about the company's history of supporting employees through the Green Card process.
Highlight insurance or financial services experience
Aflac operates exclusively in the supplemental insurance space. Candidates who can connect their background to insurance products, claims processing, actuarial work, or financial compliance are likely to stand out in the hiring process.
Search for verified sponsorship history before applying
Not every Aflac job listing will mention visa sponsorship upfront. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, saving time and ensuring you're targeting roles where sponsorship is genuinely available.
Prepare for a structured corporate hiring process
Aflac is a large, established insurer with a formal recruitment process that can span several weeks. Start your application early, especially if you're working with OPT expiration deadlines or need time to coordinate visa paperwork with HR.

Does Aflac sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Aflac sponsors H-1B visas. The company has an active sponsorship history across both H-1B work visas and employment-based Green Cards, with sponsorship concentrated in technical and professional roles. If you're targeting Aflac for H-1B sponsorship, focus on departments like technology, data, and finance where sponsorship activity has been most consistent.
What visa types does Aflac sponsor?
Aflac sponsors H-1B visas, employment-based Green Cards (EB-2 and EB-3), F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas. This range makes Aflac accessible to international students, early-career professionals, and experienced candidates alike, covering both temporary work authorization and pathways to permanent residency.
Which departments or roles at Aflac are most likely to offer visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Aflac tends to be concentrated in technology, data engineering, software development, and finance-related roles that support its insurance operations. Positions requiring specialized technical skills are where international candidates are most likely to find sponsorship available. Roles in general administration or sales are less likely to carry sponsorship.
How do I find visa-sponsored job openings at Aflac?
The most reliable approach is to filter specifically for employers with verified sponsorship history rather than relying on job listings that may not mention sponsorship. Migrate Mate lets you browse Aflac's open roles directly, filtered by visa type and confirmed sponsorship activity, so you're not guessing which positions are actually available to international candidates.
How do I time my application to Aflac around visa deadlines?
If you're applying for H-1B sponsorship, the annual lottery registration opens in March for an October 1 start date, so you'll need an offer in hand by late February or early March at the latest. For OPT or CPT roles, build in extra time for Aflac's internal HR and legal review process, which can take several weeks at a large corporate employer.
