Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Architect Jobs at Ahead Jobs
Align Your Portfolio to Enterprise Infrastructure
Ahead's Architect roles center on enterprise-scale solutions for clients in complex IT environments. Before applying, structure your portfolio around cloud migrations, network architecture, or data center transformations rather than product or startup-focused projects.
Target Ahead's Client-Facing Architecture Teams
Ahead operates as a managed services and solutions provider, so its Architects often sit in client-facing or pre-sales engineering tracks. Filtering for roles with titles like Solutions Architect or Cloud Architect surfaces positions most likely to carry sponsorship eligibility.
Request LCA Details During Offer Negotiations
The Labor Condition Application filed with DOL sets the prevailing wage floor for your role and location. Before signing, ask which wage level Ahead intends to certify, as Level I and Level II designations carry meaningfully different salary obligations for architecture positions.
Use Migrate Mate to Surface Ahead's Open Architect Roles
Ahead posts Architect openings across multiple locations and practice areas. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Ahead's visa-sponsoring architecture positions, so you're applying to roles already confirmed for international candidates rather than guessing from a general job board.
Prepare Specialty Occupation Evidence for H-1B Filing
USCIS scrutinizes Architect petitions where job duties could be read as generalist IT work. Gather documentation showing the role requires a specific bachelor's degree or higher in architecture, computer science, or engineering, not just broad technical experience.

Find Architect at Ahead JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Ahead sponsor H-1B visas for Architects?
Yes, Ahead sponsors H-1B visas for Architect roles. As a Technology & Software company with active international hiring in its architecture practice, Ahead works with candidates through the H-1B cap-subject process, including the annual April lottery registration. If you're already in H-1B status elsewhere, a cap-exempt transfer may also be possible depending on your current employer's status.
Which visa types does Ahead commonly use for Architect roles?
Ahead sponsors H-1B visas as the primary work authorization pathway for Architects. The company also supports F-1 OPT and STEM OPT extensions for recent graduates, TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying architecture specialties, and Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3 PERM-based categories for longer-tenured employees in architecture functions.
How do I apply for Architect jobs at Ahead?
Search for open Architect positions directly through Ahead's careers page or use Migrate Mate to browse and filter Ahead's roles by visa sponsorship eligibility. Tailor your application to highlight enterprise infrastructure experience relevant to Ahead's client base. Architecture roles at Ahead often progress through a technical screen, solutions design assessment, and panel interviews before an offer is extended.
What qualifications does Ahead expect for Architect positions?
Ahead's Architect roles typically require a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a closely related field, which also satisfies USCIS specialty occupation requirements for H-1B purposes. Hands-on experience with enterprise platforms, vendor certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, or AWS, and prior client-facing or pre-sales architecture experience are consistently valued across Ahead's architecture job postings.
How do I plan my timeline if I need H-1B sponsorship for an Architect role at Ahead?
H-1B petitions must be filed with USCIS by April 1 for an October 1 employment start, so you need a signed offer well before March. If you're on OPT, confirm your expiration date early in the process. For PERM-based Green Card sponsorship, the process typically takes one to three years from initiation, so raising it during onboarding rather than waiting is advisable.
