Target roles aligned with Green Card sponsorship

Emphasize language skills, cultural competency, and any background working with immigrant or refugee populations, these qualities align directly with the organization's mission and hiring priorities.
Understand the EB-2 and EB-3 timeline before applying
Employer-sponsored Green Card processes through EB-2 and EB-3 can take years depending on your country of birth and priority date. Research current visa bulletin timelines before accepting an offer so you understand what to expect from the permanent residence process.
Confirm OPT and CPT eligibility early with HR
Asian Health Services has a track record of supporting F-1 students through OPT and CPT. If you're on an F-1 visa, contact their HR or hiring team early to confirm work authorization support, don't wait until after an offer to raise the question.
