Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Account Manager Jobs at AutoNation Jobs
Align your resume to AutoNation's dealership structure
AutoNation organizes account management around regional dealership groups and OEM brand portfolios. Frame your experience around managing multi-location client relationships or B2B automotive accounts, not generic sales metrics. Hiring managers respond to candidates who understand franchise dealership operations.
Target roles during AutoNation's seasonal hiring cycles
Automotive retail account management hiring accelerates in Q1 and Q3 as AutoNation prepares for model-year transitions and fleet renewal cycles. Applications submitted outside these windows face longer review queues. Timing your outreach to regional recruiters around these periods improves response rates.
Clarify your visa type before the offer stage
AutoNation sponsors H-1B, TN, and OPT for Account Manager roles. If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your STEM extension eligibility before the offer conversation. A shorter authorization window can create hesitation, so address it directly rather than waiting for the recruiter to raise it.
Verify AutoNation's E-Verify enrollment before accepting
OPT candidates must work for an E-Verify employer to use the 24-month STEM OPT extension. AutoNation is enrolled in E-Verify, which satisfies this requirement. Confirm this with HR during the offer process so your STEM OPT extension filing with USCIS isn't delayed after your start date.
Build a LCA-ready offer letter with AutoNation's HR team
For H-1B sponsorship, AutoNation's HR must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before USCIS can process your petition. Ask HR early whether they use in-house counsel or outside immigration firms. Knowing this lets you set realistic timelines and avoid surprises around the H-1B cap and lottery window.

Find Account Manager at AutoNation JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does AutoNation sponsor H-1B visas for Account Managers?
Yes, AutoNation has sponsored H-1B visas for Account Manager roles. The process requires AutoNation to file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL and submit an I-129 petition to USCIS on your behalf. Because H-1B sponsorship is subject to the annual cap and lottery, timing your offer and petition submission around the April filing window is critical.
How do I apply for Account Manager jobs at AutoNation?
Applications go through AutoNation's careers portal. AutoNation hires Account Managers across its regional dealership groups, so openings appear at different times in different markets. Migrate Mate aggregates these listings and filters them by visa sponsorship history, which helps you identify roles where your work authorization situation aligns with AutoNation's past sponsorship patterns for this function.
Which visa types does AutoNation use for Account Manager roles?
AutoNation has used H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas for Account Manager positions. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. F-1 OPT and CPT are typically used for candidates transitioning from academic programs into a full-time account management role before H-1B sponsorship becomes the longer-term path.
What qualifications does AutoNation look for in Account Manager candidates?
AutoNation's Account Manager roles typically require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, along with direct experience managing B2B relationships, fleet accounts, or automotive retail partnerships. Familiarity with CRM platforms and automotive OEM structures is a practical advantage. Roles covering regional dealership networks may also expect experience coordinating across multiple locations or business units.
How do I plan my timeline if AutoNation offers H-1B sponsorship?
If you receive an offer requiring H-1B sponsorship, AutoNation's immigration counsel files your petition in April for an October 1 start date. If you're on OPT when the offer is made, you'll need enough OPT time remaining to bridge the gap. USCIS cap-gap protections cover F-1 students whose OPT expires between April and October while an H-1B petition is pending or approved.
