Tailor your resume to hospitality sales metrics
Hilton's hiring team looks for revenue-driven Account Managers with measurable outcomes. Quantify your portfolio size, retention rates, and revenue generated from accounts rather than listing generic relationship management duties.
Target Hilton's corporate and group sales divisions
Account Manager openings at Hilton are concentrated in corporate travel, group events, and regional sales offices. Filtering your search by these business units puts you in front of the teams most likely to have open H-2B pipelines.
Clarify H-2B eligibility before your final interview round
H-2B is a temporary nonimmigrant visa tied to seasonal or peak-period demand. Before you reach offer negotiations, confirm directly with Hilton's HR team which visa category applies to your specific role and start date.
Understand the DOL's role in your timeline
Hilton must obtain a certified job order from the Department of Labor before USCIS can process your H-2B petition. This adds weeks to the pre-offer process, so build that buffer into your start date expectations from the beginning.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open Account Manager roles at Hilton
Filtering by visa sponsorship history before you apply saves significant time. Migrate Mate lets you search Hilton's active Account Manager listings specifically, so you're targeting roles where sponsorship is already part of the conversation.
Prepare your credential documentation before the offer stage
Hilton's legal team will need your educational transcripts, employment verification letters, and any hospitality industry certifications to build the petition. Having these documents translated and notarized in advance prevents delays once an offer is extended.

Find Account Manager at Hilton JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Hilton sponsor H-1B visas for Account Managers?
Hilton's primary sponsorship vehicle for Account Manager roles is the H-2B visa rather than the H-1B. Account Manager positions in hospitality are often categorized around peak seasonal demand, which aligns with H-2B eligibility criteria. If your role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in a specific field, an H-1B pathway may be possible, but it's not the default for this function at Hilton. Confirm the visa category with the recruiter early in the process.
What visa types does Hilton commonly use for Account Manager roles?
Hilton most frequently uses the H-2B visa for Account Manager positions, particularly roles tied to group sales, corporate travel, and peak hospitality periods. In some cases, internal transfers within Hilton's global portfolio may qualify for an L-1 intracompany transferee visa. The Green Card pathway is less common for this role but is not off the table for candidates with a long tenure and employer support.
How do I apply for Account Manager jobs at Hilton?
Applications go through Hilton's careers portal, where you can filter by location and job function. For roles where visa sponsorship is a factor, Migrate Mate is a practical starting point because it surfaces Hilton's Account Manager listings alongside sponsorship context, so you can prioritize openings where international candidates have historically been considered. Once you identify a role, apply directly through Hilton and flag your visa status clearly in the application.
What qualifications and experience does Hilton expect for Account Manager roles?
Hilton typically looks for candidates with a background in hospitality sales, corporate account management, or travel industry business development. A bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field strengthens your profile. Practical experience managing revenue-generating accounts, familiarity with property management systems, and demonstrated ability to grow client portfolios are the most valued qualifications in this function.
How do I understand the timeline for visa sponsorship at Hilton?
For H-2B sponsorship, Hilton must complete a Department of Labor job order certification before USCIS processes the petition, which means the process begins well before your intended start date. USCIS H-2B adjudication typically takes several weeks after DOL certification. Factor in at least two to three months from offer to approval, and align your target start date with Hilton's hiring cycle for peak hospitality periods.
