Frame your clinical sales credentials clearly
Boston Scientific Account Managers are expected to understand procedural environments, not just sell. Highlight any experience with surgical suites, cath labs, or endoscopy units on your resume, because hiring managers screen for clinical fluency before sponsorship conversations start.
Target territories with open headcount first
Boston Scientific posts Account Manager roles by geography, and sponsorship approvals follow headcount budgets. Applying to regions with multiple open requisitions signals active hiring cycles, which increases the likelihood that a sponsorship pathway is already in motion with their legal team.
Ask about LCA filing timing during offer negotiations
Your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before USCIS can process your H-1B petition. Clarify whether Boston Scientific initiates this immediately after offer acceptance or waits for a start date, so you can plan your current status timeline accordingly.
Use Migrate Mate to surface Boston Scientific openings efficiently
Account Manager roles at Boston Scientific across different divisions and regions can be hard to track manually. Migrate Mate filters verified sponsorship-open jobs so you spend time on applications that match your visa situation, not chasing listings that exclude international candidates.
Understand how product division affects your petition
Boston Scientific spans divisions including cardiology, urology, and endoscopy. Each division files separately under its own cost center, so your H-1B petition is tied to the specific business unit hiring you. Switching divisions internally after sponsorship begins may require amended filings with USCIS.
Sequence your green card conversations around your I-94 expiry
If Boston Scientific agrees to sponsor an EB-2 or EB-3 green card, PERM labor certification alone can take a year or more. Raise the timeline early so your employer initiates the process with enough runway before your authorized stay requires another H-1B extension.

Find Account Manager at Boston Scientific JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Boston Scientific sponsor H-1B visas for Account Managers?
Yes, Boston Scientific sponsors H-1B visas for Account Manager roles. The company works with immigration counsel to file petitions for qualified candidates in this function. Sponsorship is tied to specific business divisions, so the team hiring you handles the filing rather than a centralized HR pool. Confirming sponsorship willingness early in the interview process saves time on both sides.
How do I apply for Account Manager jobs at Boston Scientific?
Applications go through Boston Scientific's careers portal, where roles are listed by division and territory. Because Account Manager positions are geographically distributed across the country, filtering by region and division helps you find active requisitions. Migrate Mate aggregates Boston Scientific's sponsorship-eligible openings in one place, which makes it easier to identify which listings are open to international candidates before you invest time applying.
Which visa types does Boston Scientific typically use for Account Manager roles?
Boston Scientific primarily uses H-1B sponsorship for Account Manager hires who need work authorization. For longer-term pathways, the company also supports employment-based Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 and EB-3 categories, which require PERM labor certification filed with the DOL. The right category depends on your education level, the role's requirements, and your country of birth for priority date purposes.
What qualifications does Boston Scientific expect for Account Manager candidates needing sponsorship?
Boston Scientific generally expects a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as life sciences, biomedical engineering, or business, alongside demonstrated sales or clinical experience. For H-1B eligibility, the role must qualify as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree. Candidates with prior medical device sales experience, familiarity with hospital procurement processes, or clinical backgrounds tend to move further in the interview process.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Boston Scientific Account Manager role?
After an offer is accepted, your employer files the Labor Condition Application with the DOL, which typically takes one to two weeks to certify. The H-1B petition then goes to USCIS, with standard processing running several months and premium processing available for a faster decision. If you're already in H-1B status with another employer, a transfer can let you start sooner while the new petition is pending.
