If you want to make a tangible difference, build lasting client relationships, and shape what comes next - we’d love to have you with us.
As a Senior Consultant, you won’t just gather insights - you’ll turn them into action. You’ll actively work with clients to implement our digital and AI-based solutions in real world contexts to help clients unlock value and shape their technological future.
From day one, you’ll collaborate closely with our team of procurement professionals, gain exposure to C-level thinking, and take ownership of workstreams that matter. You’ll also help guide junior colleagues, sharing your knowledge and setting the pace for the team.
As part of a fast-growing practice and an even faster-growing center of excellence, you’ll have the space to shape your journey. Whether you’re looking to deepen your expertise, explore new industries, or take the next step in your consulting career, we’ll support you with tailored development and real responsibility.
You’ll grow, you’ll contribute, and you’ll do it alongside a team that wants to see you succeed.
As part of a high-growth company, with accelerated opportunities you will be responsible for:
- Pioneering digital and AI. You'll lead AI-based, client-facing workstreams and modules that enable clients to be at the cutting-edge.
- Data-driven project support. You’ll bring data, digital tools, and AI methods into real consulting projects - supporting teams and clients with analyses, insights, and prototypes that create measurable value in procurement and supply chain management.
- Analytics with purpose. From cleansing and transforming raw data into structured insights to building intuitive dashboards and self-service reports, you’ll make information accessible and actionable for project teams and clients.
- Smart automation. You’ll apply modern technologies such as Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, Python, and GenAI to streamline processes, whether that’s automating data extraction, building forecasting models, or experimenting with AI-enabled solutions that make procurement smarter and faster.
- Innovation and learning. You’ll continuously explore how new technologies like LLMs, intelligent automation, and advanced analytics can be applied to procurement and supply chain challenges, sharing knowledge with colleagues and contributing to the growth of our digital, data & AI community at Inverto.
What You'll Bring
- 4+ years of professional experience in analytics, consulting, or data-driven roles, including hands-on work with core analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Excel) as a foundation for developing more advanced solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (Master’s preferred).
- Proficiency in Python for data transformation, automation, and building analytic or AI-supported workflows. Experience working within cloud environments (Azure preferred) and/or the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Curiosity and practical experience with modern AI technologies, such as using large language models (LLMs), retrieval-based systems, or workflow/agent orchestration frameworks. Examples may include OpenAI APIs, LangChain, LlamaIndex, vector databases, or similar tools - but prior exposure to all is not required.
- Ability to translate complex business problems - especially in procurement and supply chain - into scalable analytics, automation, or AI-enabled solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, paired with creativity, pragmatism, and the ability to design solutions that balance technical innovation and real-world feasibility.
- Consulting mindset and behaviors: independence, structured thinking, clear communication of insights, and the confidence to influence clients and stakeholders.
- Results-oriented mindset with a high level of personal accountability.
- Willingness to travel to work with clients and Inverto teams. At times, this role will require significant travel to client sites. The amount of travel will depend on client needs and nature of projects.

Align your portfolio to BCG's client work
BCG's Data Contributor roles support live client engagements, so your portfolio should show structured data work tied to business outcomes, not just technical exercises. Projects involving market analysis, operations data, or competitive benchmarking resonate with consulting hiring managers.
Target BCG's practice areas with data-heavy workstreams
Not all BCG teams have the same data infrastructure needs. Practices like Operations, Digital, and Financial Institutions consistently generate Data Contributor demand. Applying into these verticals increases your chances of landing on a team that actively needs structured data support.
Time your application around H-1B cap deadlines
If you need H-1B sponsorship, USCIS registration opens in March with an April 1 cap-subject start date. Securing an offer in the preceding months gives BCG's immigration team enough runway to file before the deadline without relying on cap-exempt alternatives.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Data Contributor roles at BCG
Searching BCG's full job board manually buries relevant roles under unrelated postings. Use Migrate Mate to filter Data Contributor positions at BCG by visa type and location, so you spend time applying rather than searching.
Prepare for BCG's structured interview process early
BCG uses case interviews even for data-focused roles. Practicing analytical cases that involve data interpretation and recommendation framing, not just SQL or Python skills, significantly improves your performance and signals you understand consulting context.

Find Data Contributor at Boston Consulting Group JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Boston Consulting Group sponsor H-1B visas for Data Contributors?
Yes, BCG sponsors H-1B visas for Data Contributor roles. As a large professional services firm with significant international hiring, BCG has established immigration infrastructure to support H-1B petitions. If you need cap-subject H-1B sponsorship, plan your offer timeline around the March USCIS registration window to give BCG's team adequate filing lead time.
How do I apply for Data Contributor jobs at Boston Consulting Group?
You can find open Data Contributor positions at BCG through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship eligibility and job function. Once you identify a relevant opening, apply directly through BCG's careers portal. Tailor your application to highlight structured data work in client-facing or analytical contexts, which aligns with how BCG uses this function.
Which visa types does BCG commonly use for Data Contributor roles?
BCG sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, TN, F-1 OPT, and F-1 CPT visas for this function. H-1B is the most common pathway for non-treaty nationals. Australian citizens qualify for the E-3, and Canadian and Mexican nationals may be eligible for TN status. F-1 students frequently start in Data Contributor roles on OPT or CPT before transitioning to employer-sponsored status.
What qualifications does BCG expect for Data Contributor positions?
BCG typically looks for candidates with a background in economics, statistics, computer science, or a related quantitative field. Proficiency in data tools such as Python, SQL, or Tableau is expected, but consulting firms also value the ability to frame data findings as actionable insights for clients. Relevant internship experience in a data or research capacity strengthens your application considerably.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take when joining BCG as a Data Contributor?
Timeline depends on your visa category. H-1B cap-subject petitions follow a fixed annual cycle with an October 1 start date. E-3 and TN visas can be obtained more quickly, sometimes within a few weeks of receiving an offer. BCG's immigration team typically coordinates with outside counsel, so you can expect structured communication about filing status once your offer is finalized.
