Clarify OPT STEM Extension Eligibility Early

Use Migrate Mate to Surface Qualcomm Openings
Data Contributor postings at Qualcomm aren't always labeled with sponsorship details upfront. Use Migrate Mate to filter verified sponsoring employers and surface active openings that match your visa type before investing time in the application process.
Prepare for Qualcomm's E-Verify Onboarding Requirements
Qualcomm participates in E-Verify, so your work authorization documents must be ready before day one. If you're transitioning from F-1 OPT, ensure your EAD card reflects the correct employer and start date to avoid I-9 mismatches during onboarding.
Understand the H-1B Cap Timeline Before Negotiating Start Dates
If your role requires a cap-subject H-1B petition, USCIS only accepts filings in April for an October 1 start date. Negotiate your start date with Qualcomm's HR team with this window in mind to avoid a gap in your work authorization.
