JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for executing the collection, storage, interpretation, and visualization of data for financial, business, and analytical solutions that help the organization achieve its long-term goals and objectives.
POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Analyze statistical data on large sets and identify trends by using advanced mathematical and computer science skills.
- Execute the production of statistical models, tools, and processes.
- Write programs to cleanse and integrate structured and unstructured data in an efficient and reusable manner.
- Evaluate modelling results and communicate the results to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Work with actuaries, analysts, and other stakeholders directly or indirectly to provide data, reporting, advanced analysis, and insights.
- Perform deep dives into a varying array of data sources, determining the appropriate data for the analysis to be performed, identifying potential uses, and preparing for analysis.
- Complete other projects as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related discipline.
- Must have previous experience with Excel, SQL, and statistical programming languages (i.e. Python, R, SAS).
- One to three years of experience in Data Science related role is desired.
- Exposure to and understanding of the insurance industry is desired.
