Target roles aligned with H-2A eligibility
Central Valley Ag sponsors H-2A visas, which cover temporary agricultural work. Focus your application on fieldwork, crop production, or hands-on farm roles, these are the positions most likely to come with visa sponsorship at agricultural employers like this one.
Understand the seasonal nature of H-2A hiring
H-2A sponsorship is tied to agricultural cycles, so Central Valley Ag's hiring tends to follow planting and harvest seasons. Timing your application to align with peak demand windows significantly improves your chances of landing a sponsored position.
Confirm sponsorship before applying
Not every open role at an agricultural employer includes visa sponsorship. Before applying, verify that the specific position is designated for H-2A workers. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and avoid wasted applications.
Prepare documentation early
H-2A applications require coordination between you, the employer, and the Department of Labor. Central Valley Ag initiates the process, but having your passport, work history, and personal documents ready in advance keeps the timeline on track and avoids delays.
Highlight relevant agricultural experience
Central Valley Ag operates in a hands-on industry where practical skills matter more than credentials. Emphasize direct experience with farm equipment, crop handling, irrigation, or livestock care in your application, these details signal readiness for the work being sponsored.
Follow up through the right channels
Agricultural employers often manage hiring through HR contacts or labor recruitment agents rather than standard job portals. After applying, a direct and professional follow-up with the hiring team at Central Valley Ag can help your application stand out during active recruitment periods.
