Target roles in clinical and technical functions
Cohere Health's sponsorship activity is concentrated in technical and clinical operations roles. Focus your search on software engineering, data science, and clinical program management positions, where visa sponsorship is most commonly tied to open headcount.
Understand the H-1B timeline before you apply
Cohere Health sponsors H-1B visas, which means your start date depends on the annual lottery in April. Apply to roles well ahead of October, and be upfront with recruiters about your current status and when you'd need sponsorship to begin.
Ask specifically about their immigration support process
Cohere Health works with immigration counsel to manage sponsorship cases. During the offer stage, ask whether they use outside immigration attorneys and whether they cover filing fees, this signals how structured their sponsorship process is.
Leverage your OPT window strategically
If you're on F-1 OPT, Cohere Health has sponsored this status before. Starting in a role during your OPT period and converting to H-1B is a well-worn path at healthcare tech companies, use your OPT window to build your case internally.
Browse verified sponsoring companies before cold-applying
Many healthcare tech companies claim to sponsor visas but rarely follow through. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you prioritize companies like Cohere Health with a genuine track record.
Highlight mission alignment alongside technical skills
Cohere Health operates at the intersection of clinical quality and insurance efficiency. Candidates who connect their background to healthcare outcomes, not just technical credentials, tend to resonate more in interviews at mission-driven health tech companies.
