Target roles aligned with sponsored visa types
Cooper Farms sponsors agricultural and operational roles through H-2A and permanent residence pathways. Focus your applications on farming, processing, and operations positions, where the company has an established pattern of supporting foreign national workers.
Understand the H-2A hiring cycle
Agricultural employers like Cooper Farms hire H-2A workers on seasonal timelines tied to planting and harvest cycles. Apply well ahead of peak seasons and ask recruiters about upcoming seasonal openings to avoid missing the sponsorship window.
Canadian and Mexican nationals should ask about TN eligibility

Find Cooper Farms JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Cooper Farms sponsor H-1B visas?
Cooper Farms does not have a history of sponsoring H-1B visas. The company's sponsorship activity is concentrated in H-2A for seasonal agricultural workers, F-1 OPT and CPT for students, TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals, and permanent residence through EB-2 and EB-3 pathways. Job seekers who require H-1B sponsorship should consider whether one of these alternative visa types fits their situation.
Which visa types does Cooper Farms sponsor?
Cooper Farms sponsors a range of visa categories including H-2A for temporary agricultural workers, F-1 OPT and CPT for students completing practical training, TN visas for eligible Canadian and Mexican nationals, and immigrant visas through the EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways. The company's willingness to support both temporary and permanent immigration makes it one of the more comprehensive sponsors in the agriculture sector.
What types of roles at Cooper Farms typically receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Cooper Farms is most common in agricultural operations, food processing, and farm management functions. H-2A sponsorship tends to support hands-on farming and harvest roles, while Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 and EB-3 is more common for workers in skilled operational or supervisory positions. F-1 OPT and CPT placements are typically tied to internship or early-career roles in agriculture-related disciplines.
How do I apply for a sponsored role at Cooper Farms?
Start by identifying open roles that match your background and visa category. For H-2A and seasonal positions, timing matters, so apply ahead of the agricultural cycle relevant to your target location. For F-1 OPT or CPT, contact their recruiting team early in your program. For Green Card pathways, look for full-time roles in operations or management. Migrate Mate lets you browse verified Cooper Farms openings filtered by sponsorship type, so you can apply to roles where sponsorship is confirmed.
How do I know if Cooper Farms is a strong visa sponsor?
Cooper Farms is one of the more active sponsors in the agriculture and farming industry, particularly for permanent residence and seasonal work visas. Unlike many employers in the sector that limit sponsorship to temporary programs, Cooper Farms has a documented history of supporting workers through to Green Card status via EB-2 and EB-3 filings, which signals genuine long-term investment in its international workforce.
