Tailor your resume to property management
Core Spaces operates student housing and multifamily communities, so frame your Customer Support experience around lease lifecycle, tenant communication, or facilities coordination. Generic call center experience reads weaker than demonstrated knowledge of residential operations.
Research which locations have open roles
Core Spaces manages properties across multiple university markets. Target applications to locations with active leasing cycles, typically late fall through spring, when Customer Support hiring ramps up ahead of academic-year move-ins.
Ask about EB-2 and EB-3 pathways early
Core Spaces has sponsored employment-based Green Cards for support roles. During interviews, ask directly whether the position is eligible for PERM-based sponsorship. Waiting until after an offer to raise this costs you negotiating leverage and timeline clarity.
Understand the PERM process and your role in it
For EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship, your employer files a PERM labor certification with the DOL before petitioning USCIS. This process takes many months, so confirm the employer's willingness to start PERM early and clarify whether they use outside immigration counsel.
Align your status timeline with the sponsorship window
If you're on OPT or a visa with a limited runway, map your work authorization expiration against the PERM and I-140 timeline. Gaps in authorization can interrupt employment, so coordinate with your employer's HR team before your current status approaches expiration.
Use Migrate Mate to find sponsorship-verified openings
Not every Customer Support listing at Core Spaces includes sponsorship details in the job post. Use Migrate Mate to filter and browse roles at Core Spaces that are confirmed sponsorship-eligible, so you're not spending time on applications that won't lead to visa support.

Find Customer Support at Core Spaces JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Core Spaces sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Supports?
Core Spaces' documented sponsorship history for Customer Support roles centers on employment-based Green Card pathways, specifically EB-2 and EB-3, rather than H-1B visas. Customer Support positions typically don't meet the specialty occupation threshold that H-1B requires, so if you're targeting Core Spaces, an employment-based permanent residency route is the more realistic path to explore with their HR or immigration team.
Which visa types are commonly used for Customer Support roles at Core Spaces?
Customer Support roles at Core Spaces are most commonly sponsored through EB-3, which covers skilled workers and positions that may not require an advanced degree. EB-2 sponsorship is possible if the role requires a degree and the candidate has specialized qualifications. Both pathways involve a PERM labor certification filed with the DOL before USCIS adjudicates the immigrant petition.
What qualifications or experience does Core Spaces expect for Customer Support positions?
Core Spaces typically looks for Customer Support candidates with experience in residential real estate, property management, or student housing environments. Familiarity with leasing processes, tenant communication tools, and maintenance ticketing systems strengthens your application. A background in hospitality or multifamily operations translates well. Roles often require strong written communication skills given the high volume of resident correspondence involved.
How do I apply for Customer Support jobs at Core Spaces?
You can browse current Customer Support openings at Core Spaces directly through Migrate Mate, which filters for roles with confirmed sponsorship history so you know what you're applying into. When you apply, tailor your materials to Core Spaces' student housing and multifamily portfolio. Following up with the hiring team after submitting is common practice and signals genuine interest in the company specifically.
How do I estimate the timeline for Green Card sponsorship through Core Spaces?
The employment-based Green Card process through an employer like Core Spaces involves several sequential stages: PERM labor certification with the DOL, which can take six months to over a year, followed by an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS, and then adjustment of status or consular processing. Your priority date and country of birth affect how long the final stage takes. Starting the conversation about sponsorship timing before or during the offer stage gives you the most accurate picture.
