Align your credentials to consulting delivery
Deloitte evaluates Network Engineering Managers against client-facing project leadership, not just technical depth. Document experience managing enterprise network infrastructure implementations for external clients, as internal IT experience alone often doesn't meet the bar for consulting roles.
Target Deloitte's federal and commercial practices separately
Deloitte's federal practice and its commercial consulting arm hire Network Engineering Managers through different pipelines. Federal roles often require clearance eligibility, which can complicate sponsorship. Apply to commercial practice openings first if you're on a nonimmigrant visa and need a faster path to an offer.
Browse open roles on Migrate Mate before applying directly
Deloitte posts Network Engineering Manager openings across multiple portals, making it easy to miss visa-friendly listings. Use Migrate Mate to filter for sponsorship-confirmed roles at Deloitte and avoid spending time on positions where sponsorship isn't confirmed.
Request E-3 or H-1B1 processing if you qualify
If you're an Australian or Chilean or Singaporean national, ask Deloitte's immigration team about E-3 or H-1B1 processing. These categories sit outside the H-1B cap, avoid the lottery, and can move significantly faster than standard H-1B adjudication for the same Network Engineering Manager role.
Understand Deloitte's PERM timing for EB-2 or EB-3
Deloitte typically initiates PERM labor certification for sponsored employees after a defined tenure period. For Network Engineering Managers, EB-2 is the more common pathway given degree and experience requirements. Confirm with your assigned immigration counsel when PERM recruitment is expected to begin.
Prepare for a delayed I-129 filing after offer acceptance
Deloitte processes H-1B transfers and new petitions through a coordinated immigration team, which means there's often a gap between your signed offer and when USCIS receives your I-129. Plan for this window, especially if you're in a 60-day grace period between jobs.

Find Network Engineering Manager at Deloitte JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas for Network Engineering Managers?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for Network Engineering Manager roles and has done so consistently across its consulting practices. Sponsorship is typically handled through Deloitte's in-house immigration team, which works with external immigration counsel. Cap-subject H-1B candidates need to be mindful of the annual lottery, while E-3 and H-1B1 holders can transfer without entering the lottery.
How do I apply for Network Engineering Manager jobs at Deloitte?
Apply through Deloitte's official careers portal or use Migrate Mate to browse verified sponsorship-friendly openings. Tailor your application to highlight client-facing network infrastructure experience and project leadership. Deloitte's recruiting process for this level typically includes a recruiter screen, technical assessment, and multiple behavioral interviews focused on client delivery and team management.
Which visa types does Deloitte commonly use for Network Engineering Manager roles?
Deloitte sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for nonimmigrant work authorization. For permanent residency, EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways are used depending on the candidate's qualifications. Australian nationals are frequently sponsored on E-3 visas, which carry no annual cap and no lottery, making them faster to obtain than H-1B for eligible candidates.
What qualifications does Deloitte expect for Network Engineering Manager candidates?
Deloitte typically requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a closely related field, along with substantial experience managing enterprise-scale network infrastructure. For a manager-level role in consulting, demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering network solutions for external clients carries significant weight alongside technical certifications such as CCIE or CCNP.
How do I time my visa sponsorship when switching to Deloitte on an existing H-1B?
If you're currently on an H-1B with another employer, Deloitte can file an H-1B transfer petition, allowing you to start work once USCIS receives the petition, not after approval. Premium processing through USCIS can reduce the adjudication window significantly if your start date is time-sensitive. Confirm your current I-94 status and remaining authorized period before your first day.
