Verify your clinical licensure transfers across states
Mental health roles at DNA Comprehensive Therapy Services typically require state licensure, such as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT. Confirm your credential is valid in the state where you'd be placed before applying, since licensure portability directly affects your petition timeline.
Align your degree field to the posted role
USCIS requires a direct relationship between your degree and the specialty occupation. For mental health positions, a master's in counseling, social work, or clinical psychology is the standard match. A degree in an unrelated field weakens the H-1B petition significantly.
Target DNA's open roles through Migrate Mate
DNA Comprehensive Therapy Services posts mental health openings across multiple locations. Browse their active roles on Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for visa-sponsoring employers so you're not wasting applications on positions that won't support your status.
Ask about the LCA filing timeline upfront
Your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with DOL before USCIS can receive your H-1B petition. Confirm DNA has done this process before and ask whether they work with outside immigration counsel, since internal HR-managed filings can move slower.
Structure your OPT or CPT start date around caseload needs
Healthcare employers like DNA often need staff on a specific schedule tied to client caseloads. If you're on F-1 OPT, coordinate your authorized start date with their onboarding window so there's no gap between your authorization and your first billable session.
Request written confirmation of sponsorship before accepting
Get the sponsorship commitment in writing during the offer stage, not after you've given notice elsewhere. For TN candidates, confirm DNA will provide the required support letter documenting your role, employer details, and the professional category you're entering under.

Find Mental Health at DNA Comprehensive Therapy Services JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does DNA Comprehensive Therapy Services sponsor H-1B visas for Mental Health roles?
Yes, DNA Comprehensive Therapy Services has sponsored H-1B visas for mental health professionals. The roles that qualify are those meeting USCIS's specialty occupation standard, which for mental health typically means positions requiring at least a master's degree in counseling, clinical social work, or a related field. Confirming your degree aligns with the specific job title is the most important step before applying.
How do I apply for Mental Health jobs at DNA Comprehensive Therapy Services?
You can browse and apply for mental health openings at DNA Comprehensive Therapy Services through Migrate Mate, which lists their visa-sponsoring roles in one place. When you apply, make sure your resume clearly reflects your clinical credentials, state licensure status, and any prior supervised hours. Mentioning your visa type and timeline early in the process helps the hiring team plan accordingly.
Which visa types does DNA Comprehensive Therapy Services commonly use for Mental Health hires?
DNA Comprehensive Therapy Services has worked with H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visa holders for mental health roles. H-1B is the most common path for long-term placements. OPT and CPT allow students to gain clinical hours while in or just after a graduate program. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying mental health occupations.
What qualifications does DNA Comprehensive Therapy Services expect for Mental Health positions?
Most mental health roles at DNA require a master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or clinical psychology, along with active or in-process state licensure. Supervised clinical hours are often a prerequisite for licensure-eligible roles. Specializations in areas like behavioral health, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment can strengthen your application for their client populations.
How do I time my application around the H-1B filing calendar for a Mental Health role at DNA?
USCIS opens H-1B registration in March each year for an October 1 start date. If you're selected in the lottery, your employer has until late June to file the full petition. For mental health candidates, this means beginning conversations with DNA well before March so your LCA can be filed with DOL in advance and your petition is ready to submit without delay.
