Instructors use the resources of the School of Nursing to engage, inspire and elevate student learning.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach groups of students in the school’s pre-licensure psychiatric and mental health nursing courses in labs and/or clinical settings.
- Participate in required course-related meetings, program faculty meetings, and faculty committees as needed or selected.
- Assist in student clinical assessments and grading assignments.
- Serve as a resource/advisor/mentor for students.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Current NYS licensure
- Demonstrated record of clinical excellence
- Superior interpersonal skills required
- Post-offer health assessment required
- Complete all agency requirements for clinical faculty compliance and credentialing
