Frame your PM credentials around commerce operations
eBay's Project Program Manager roles sit at the intersection of marketplace technology, seller experience, and logistics. Tailor your resume to show program delivery in e-commerce or retail tech contexts, not just generic project lifecycle management.
Identify which eBay teams file LCAs consistently
Search DOL's OFLC disclosure data for eBay LCA filings filtered by job title. Project Program Manager positions tend to cluster in product, seller growth, and payments. Targeting those teams directly improves your odds of landing a sponsorship-ready role.
Browse open eBay roles on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Project Program Manager openings at eBay by visa type. This saves time by surfacing only the roles where sponsorship is actively on the table, so you're not applying blind.
Clarify your visa timeline before the offer stage
If you're on F-1 OPT, know your STEM extension eligibility and expiration date before interviews progress. eBay's recruiting team will ask about your authorization window. Coming in with exact dates and transfer timelines signals you've done the groundwork.
Distinguish TN eligibility if you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship
Project Program Manager roles can qualify under TN status if the position maps to a covered USMCA category like Management Consultant or Engineer. Confirm the job description supports that classification with an immigration attorney before accepting an offer.
Prepare for PERM documentation early if targeting permanent residence
eBay sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for program management roles, but the PERM labor certification process requires detailed records of your education and prior job duties. Gather official transcripts, employment verification letters, and credential evaluations before your start date.

Does eBay sponsor H-1B visas for Project Program Managers?
Yes, eBay sponsors H-1B visas for Project Program Manager roles. The position qualifies as a specialty occupation because it requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as business, engineering, or computer science. eBay participates in the H-1B cap lottery for new hires and also files cap-exempt petitions for qualifying transfers and extensions.
How do I apply for Project Program Manager jobs at eBay?
Applications go through eBay's careers portal at careers.ebayinc.com. Filter by job function or keyword to find Project Program Manager openings. If you need visa sponsorship, use Migrate Mate to browse verified eBay listings where sponsorship is confirmed, which narrows the field and saves time spent on roles that won't support your status.
Which visa types does eBay commonly use for Project Program Manager roles?
eBay sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT for Project Program Managers. H-1B is the most common path for non-Australian, non-Canadian candidates. E-3 is available to Australian citizens and offers a simpler filing process without a lottery. TN applies to Canadian and Mexican nationals in eligible USMCA categories. eBay also supports EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa pathways for longer-term permanent residence sponsorship.
What qualifications does eBay expect for a Project Program Manager role?
eBay typically looks for a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field, combined with several years of experience managing cross-functional programs. Familiarity with agile or scaled delivery frameworks and experience in e-commerce, marketplace platforms, or retail technology carries significant weight. PMP certification or equivalent credentials can strengthen your application, particularly for senior-level positions.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Project Program Manager at eBay?
Timeline depends on visa type. E-3 consular processing typically takes two to four weeks once the Labor Condition Application is certified by DOL. H-1B standard processing runs three to five months through USCIS, with premium processing available to reduce that to roughly 15 business days. If you're transitioning from F-1 OPT, make sure your current work authorization covers the expected filing and approval window.
