Frame your PM credentials around marketplace operations
eBay's Program Manager roles often sit at the intersection of seller tools, logistics, and platform growth. Tailor your resume to show experience managing cross-functional programs in retail, e-commerce, or two-sided marketplace environments before you apply.
Target teams with recurring international hiring patterns
eBay's payments, trust and safety, and seller experience teams have historically sponsored international candidates for Program Manager roles. Research open requisitions in these functions on eBay's careers page and prioritize applications there.
Clarify your visa category early in recruiter conversations
eBay sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT for Program Managers, but each has different timelines. Tell your recruiter your current status and authorization end date upfront so the hiring team can factor filing deadlines into the offer process.
Use Migrate Mate to surface eBay Program Manager openings
Filtering by role and sponsor simultaneously saves significant research time. Migrate Mate lets you browse verified Program Manager openings at eBay alongside sponsorship history, so you can apply to roles where the pathway already has precedent.
Prepare for LCA wage level scrutiny at the offer stage
DOL Labor Condition Applications require eBay to certify your offered wage meets the prevailing rate for Program Manager roles in your work location. If the role is remote, confirm with HR which metropolitan area's prevailing wage applies to your position.

Find Program Manager at eBay JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does eBay sponsor H-1B visas for Program Managers?
Yes, eBay sponsors H-1B visas for Program Manager roles. The process requires your employer to file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL and then submit an H-1B petition to USCIS on your behalf. If you're subject to the annual cap, your start date will be October 1 of the fiscal year following a successful lottery selection. Candidates already holding H-1B status through a prior employer may be eligible for a transfer without waiting for the lottery.
Which visa types does eBay commonly sponsor for Program Manager roles?
eBay sponsors several visa categories for Program Managers, including H-1B, E-3 (for Australian citizens), TN (for Canadian and Mexican nationals), F-1 OPT and CPT for students, J-1, and employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. The right category depends on your nationality, current immigration status, and the specific role. E-3 and TN visas are often faster to process than H-1B because they aren't subject to the annual cap or lottery.
What qualifications and experience does eBay expect for Program Manager roles?
eBay's Program Manager positions typically require a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, engineering, computer science, or operations management, and several years of experience managing cross-functional programs. Roles in marketplace, payments, or platform teams often favor candidates with e-commerce or two-sided platform experience. Strong stakeholder management, data-driven decision-making, and familiarity with agile methodologies are consistently cited in eBay's Program Manager job descriptions.
How do I apply for Program Manager jobs at eBay?
You can browse and apply for Program Manager roles directly through eBay's careers page, or use Migrate Mate to filter for eBay openings that align with your visa sponsorship needs. Once you identify a role, apply with a resume that reflects cross-functional program delivery experience relevant to eBay's marketplace or platform teams. Be prepared to address your work authorization status early in the recruiter screening call.
How do I plan my timeline if eBay extends me an offer requiring visa sponsorship?
The timeline depends on your visa category. E-3 and TN petitions can often be processed in weeks, while H-1B cap cases require filing in April for an October 1 start. F-1 OPT candidates should confirm their authorization expiration date and whether cap-gap protection applies. Once an offer is extended, eBay's HR and legal team will coordinate the sponsorship process, but confirming your status and timeline with the recruiter before the offer stage prevents last-minute complications.
