Frame your credentials around Deloitte's delivery model
Deloitte Program Managers are expected to lead cross-functional workstreams on client engagements, not just internal projects. Tailor your resume to show client-facing delivery experience, stakeholder management across organizations, and outcomes tied to billable work.
Target practice areas that match your visa type
Deloitte's Government and Public Services practice frequently sponsors E-3 and H-1B1 visa holders due to federal contract work. If you hold one of these visa types, filtering roles by that practice area can surface positions with the clearest sponsorship precedent.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Program Manager roles
Deloitte posts Program Manager positions across dozens of service lines simultaneously, making it hard to track which ones include sponsorship. Use Migrate Mate to filter Deloitte openings by visa type so you only apply where sponsorship is on the table.
Clarify sponsorship scope before accepting an offer
Deloitte sponsors across H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, and employment-based Green Card pathways, but not every offer includes all categories. Before signing, confirm in writing which visa type is covered and whether PERM-based Green Card sponsorship is included or available after a qualifying period.
Account for LCA filing in your start date negotiation
Before Deloitte can file your H-1B or E-3 petition, they must obtain a certified Labor Condition Application from the DOL. This adds at least one to two weeks to the process, so factor that into any projected start date discussion during offer negotiation.
Prepare PMP certification and consulting methodology evidence
Deloitte's Program Manager job descriptions frequently list PMP certification or equivalent as a requirement. If yours is pending renewal or from a non-U.S. body, gather documentation showing equivalency early, since hiring teams may flag gaps before initiating a visa filing.

Find Program Manager at Deloitte JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas for Program Managers?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for Program Manager roles. Program Manager positions typically qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS criteria, requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, engineering, or information systems. Sponsorship availability can vary by practice area and project pipeline, so confirming with your recruiter during the offer stage is advisable.
Which visa types does Deloitte sponsor for Program Manager roles?
Deloitte sponsors Program Managers under H-1B, H-1B1 (for Chilean and Singaporean nationals), and E-3 (for Australian nationals) visa categories. For longer-term work authorization, Deloitte also supports employment-based Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 and EB-3 pathways, typically initiated after you've been in the role for a qualifying period and subject to business needs.
How do I apply for Program Manager jobs at Deloitte?
Applications go through Deloitte's careers portal, where roles are listed by service line and location. Because Deloitte posts a high volume of Program Manager openings simultaneously, filtering by sponsorship eligibility upfront saves time. Migrate Mate lets you browse Deloitte's open Program Manager positions filtered by visa type, so you're only reviewing roles where sponsorship is confirmed.
What qualifications does Deloitte expect for a sponsored Program Manager?
Deloitte's Program Manager roles typically require a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, several years of project or program delivery experience, and demonstrable client-facing work. Many postings list PMP certification or a comparable credential. For visa sponsorship, your degree field needs to align with the role's specialty occupation definition under USCIS standards, so a mismatch between your credentials and the job description can complicate the filing.
How do I plan my timeline if Deloitte is sponsoring my H-1B or E-3 visa?
For an H-1B, the annual lottery runs in March with an October 1 start date, meaning a new petition can take six months or more from registration to employment authorization. For an E-3, which has no lottery, Deloitte must first obtain a DOL-certified LCA before filing, adding one to two weeks before your consular interview can be scheduled. Build these windows into your target start date early in negotiations.
