The Junior Finance Analyst supports the accounting and finance functions by performing core accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with monthly close and reporting activities. Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting and finance operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and post journal entries in the general ledger
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
- Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
- Review, track, and reconcile invoices, expenses, and transactions
- Assist with budget tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Assist with financial statements, schedules, and internal reports
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice review and payment tracking
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal financial policies and accounting standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial requests and audits
- Identify discrepancies and assist in resolving accounting issues
