Empire Distributors, a Leading Beverage Distributor with excellent benefits, competitive wages and the potential for growth opportunities, is now hiring a Route Reconciliation Clerk. This position receives and records driver receivables on a daily basis. Individual documents all deliveries made without payments received, totals payments, verifies receipts, processes deposits and stores printouts. Preferred candidate should have SAP experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receives, records and verifies daily check deposits from drivers and completes manifests.
- Receives, records, and verifies daily receipts from drivers.
- Scans checks to bank and creates and sends check deposits.
- Verifies and copies grocery store printouts.
- Analyzes and researches causes to "short pays". Explains results of any "short pay" to the responsible driver supervisor or manager.
- Documents all re-routes on the appropriate form and ensures all drivers have notified the appropriate sales person.
- Produces reports summarizing daily activities and shortages.
- Documents uncollected checks by driver stop.
- Files documents and deposits account summaries in to secured safe.
- Dialogues and summarizes accounts with drivers.
- Assists with related special projects, as required.
- Ability and willingness to select/input ALL products that may be ordered by our customers.
- Assists in other duties as assigned by the Manager.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMPUTER SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software, Microsoft Office products, and email.
Must be proficient at 10-Keying. SAP Experience preferred.
