Summary

Coordinates, and performs activities engaged in maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings and maintaining grounds by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following

• Coordinates and performs painting, building repairs, and basic woodworking, to the furnishings and warehouse.
• Performs ground maintenance activities such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, removing weeds, and raking and disposing of leaves and refuse.
• Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Services conveyor within the warehouse.
• Inspects completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards.
• Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
• Interprets company policies and performs duties following company safety regulations.
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
• Initiates or suggests plans to achieve work goals.
• Maintains time and production records.
• Confers with managers to coordinate activities of individual departments.
• Coordinates activities of outside contractors used for maintenance and repair of building and surroundings.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must possess and maintain current forklift license.
